Greater Oregon League:
In the Greater Oregon League the tournament finals have been set. On the girls side La Grande beat Ontario 51-43 last night to advance to the title game at Baker High School tomorrow afternoon at 4:00 pm where they will take on regular season champion Baker. The Ontario boys came from 23 points down to edge Baker 44-41. Ontario travels to La Grande tomorrow night for a 7:00 pm game.
Wapiti League:
The 2A Wapiti League tournament begins this afternoon at Eastern Oregon University. On the girls side #1 Imbler beat #3 Enterprise 50-40. Imbler plays #1 Grant Union Saturday night at 6:00 pm for the Wapiti title while Enterprise plays at 1:00 pm against Union who knocked off #5 Elgin.
On the boys side #2 Union edged #3 Grant Union in overtime 50-48. Union takes on #1 Imbler for the Wapiti title at 7:45 pm Saturday night. Grant Union will play Elgin at 2:15 pm tomorrow for 3rd place.
Old Oregon League:
Powder Valley needed double-overtime to beat Joseph 61-53 at Baker High School. Nixyaawii handled Cove 57-17. Powder Valley and Nixyaawii play at 6:30 pm for the league title while Cove and Joseph play at 1:00 pm.
On the boys side Joseph beat Nixyaawii 57-38 and Powder Valley cruised to a 7441 win over Echo. Powder Valley and Joseph will play at 8:15 pm for the OOL title while Nixyaawii and Echo play at 2:15 pm
