The National Basketball Association (NBA) and ELEVEN SPORTS NETWORK today announced a multi-year broadcast partnership to bring NBA games and programming to fans in Singapore, beginning with the 2016-17 season.
As an official broadcast partner of the NBA in Singapore, ELEVEN SPORTS NETWORK will televise the regular-season, NBA All-Star, NBA Playoffs, the entirety of the Conference Finals and The Finals. ELEVEN will also show repeat primetime telecasts and NBA highlights programs, including NBA Action and daily highlights. The network’s coverage will be accessible through its website and mobile app.
“The NBA is one of the biggest sports properties in the world and we are delighted to be the network bringing it to fans in Singapore,” says Danny Menken, Group Managing Director, ELEVEN SPORTS NETWORK. “Our localised NBA programming in Belgium has been very popular with the fans, and we are sure we can replicate this success in this important Asian market.”
“With an extensive portfolio of premium sports content, ELEVEN is the ideal partner in Singapore for us to work with to increase our local presence,” says Scott Levy, Asia Managing Director, NBA. “Singapore is an important market for us and we’ve conducted numerous events there, including the recent introduction of the Jr. NBA programme, marking the sixth Southeast Asian country to adopt our youth development platform. With the support of ELEVEN, we look forward to bringing even more NBA experiences to our Singaporean fans.”
Fans can subscribe for NBA content via www.elevensports.sg or through the ELEVEN SPORTS app, which can be downloaded from Google Play and the App Store. The network’s channels are also available in Singapore on Singtel TV, StarHub Go and Toggle.
