**JOB TITLE: **Project Manager

**DEPARTMENT**: Store Design & Visual Merchandising

**REPORTS TO**: Regional Director

**WORK LOCATION:** Miami, FL

**POSITION SUMMARY:**

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department by communicating and negotiating with suppliers, designers, retailers, area sales managers and regional directors for information and status of all projects. The role is responsible for providing integral project management support to the merchandising and store design teams on a corporate basis. This role will be a key point of contact for the department and will involve responding to inquiries on all merchandising and design questions as well as resolving issues.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of store building and understanding of technical plans, store layouts, vendor packages and visual layouts. They will have previous experience of working in a challenging department prioritizing their workload to meet deadlines.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* The Lead coordinator for all new store and refurbishment projects across the Americas on time and in budget. In addition they will be the main contact for all repairs, maintenance, retrofits and VIP visits.
* Receiving and review PRF forms, and Vendor packages for accuracy. Then proceeding to trigger actual job start internally/corporately.
* Develop and ensure timelines are being followed for each project working with the Director of the department.
* Reach out to all vendors to gather bids following design requirements. Based on the estimate provided to finance, negotiate, paying attention to all details & ensuring we can deliver on time with the highest quality.
* Expediting the award process including all communication with the shopfitter, sending out all drawings once received from each designer.
* Coordinate internally and externally with all point people to make sure all installations have least complications as possible.
* Being pro active to take the initiative to communicate with all teams the status of production and installations.
* Work closely with VM to ensure that all orders are placed on time, and will arrive to the shopfitter for the proper install.
* Working closely with finance to ensure all invoices are paid on time.
* Managing of project-specific invoices to ensure budgets are met and projects can be closed by the Finance Department.
* Updating the weekly status report for the department, keeping everyone informed on all projects.
* Files and keeps clear, understandable records of all stores for future use by Brand Managers, Merchandising and Store Design.
* As this is a corporate roll, constant liaison with team leader is essential for the efficient running of the department.
* The ideal candidate will understand the technicalities of store design and visual merchandising.
* Be an excellent communicator and negotiator with sound commercial skills.
* Be a confident Project Manager with experience of managing budgets and meeting timelines.
* Attention to detail and good follow through are essential.
* Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal and organization skills, and enjoy a flexible, team environment working to deadlines.

## Primary Location

* Minimum 5+ years of experience in visual merchandising, industrial design, interior design, architecture, store planning/design, graphic design, or related field Experience from local market is a plus.
* Bachelor''s degree required. Masters is a plus
* Excellent computer skills, particularly in Acrobat, Autocad, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office,
* Experience is required in logistics, managing projects
* Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
* Must be able to manage deadlines
* 25% travel will be required
* Experience in working with multiple discipline projects and project management.
* Basic understanding of retail business.
* Independent worker and decision maker.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Superior organizational skills to handle the details of many projects simultaneously with ability to juggle many pressing priorities with ease in a fast paced environment
