The Director of Global Project Management for Clinique will be responsible for planning, executing and evaluating projects according to business objectives and managing project teams to ensure quality control throughout the project life cycle.The Director of Global Project Management will be responsible for ensuring that projects are properly scoped, managed and delivered on time and on budget. This position will provide a strong new focus on managing the Online and Digital project portfolio- managing priorities, maximizing resources, and evolving procedures and process. This role will support and work closely with the Executive Director of Global User Experience and Product Development to provide innovative and best-in-class online experiences.
Primary Responsibilities
* Oversee and own the master Clinique Online and Digital project portfolio tracker, managing timelines and project progress from internal ideation to global rollout
* Conduct weekly project portfolio reviews with Production, Creative and Marketing teams to align all stakeholders on priorities and schedule
* Provide leadership and direction on how to improve the optimization/enhancements of the Project Management process to produce best-in-class experiences globally
* Manage project development from initiation to closure, tracking and reporting project milestones and providing status daily to all regional business teams
* Work closely with project sponsor to outline scope, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing and appropriate regional markets
* Mange scope by ensuring any changes are documented and approved
* Manage creative/copy and external agency teams to ensure deliverable specifications are met and delivered on time
* Determine if external contractors or vendors will be required to complete the plan
* Develop Project Management best practices and socialize throughout team for maximum efficiencies
* Resolve escalated business issues and remove productivity barriers
Qualifications:
* Position requires 8 years project management experience in an agency or client side, with at least 4 years experience in e-commerce
* Proven experience leading and managing large, geographically dispersed teams
* Strong knowledge of all phases of web development
* Experience in resource scheduling and management; proven financial management skills a plus
* Effective communicator and stellar negotiation skills
