POSITION SUMMARY:

Effectively manage assigned projects for global launch initiatives in the category from inception of project to shipment of product through the Supply Chain organization, ensuring goals of cost effectiveness, timeliness, and inventory management are met. Manage the development of all materials necessary to support new product introductions including samples, display and collateral.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage the efficient and effective execution of new products and Marketing initiatives to the global marketplace.
* Support Director as needed.
* Initiate and/or manage items as required for assigned project, which could include the Global Coding System, Timeline Management System (TLM), SAP, Marketing Bulletins, International Marketing Website (IMW) offerings, etc.
* Develop and execute timelines to support the Marketing Calendar achieving cross-functional acceptance from the appropriate Business Unit including Marketing, Packaging, Product Development, R&D, Creative, Global Supplier Relations (GSR) and Manufacturing.
* Ensure all milestones meet their due dates in order to achieve the Target Ship Date; drive the process end-to-end, negotiate with appropriate departments and resolve all timeline issues. Develop tactical plans when missed due dates occur to bring project back on track.
* Participate in regularly scheduled meetings (Product Package & Development Meetings (PPD)/Category Review/Site Ops) to review projects with core project team (Marketing, Packaging, Creative, Product Development, R&D, Site, New Launch Planning, Supply Planning, GSR, Regulatory) and identify next action steps and decisions required by Senior Management in order to move programs forward.
* Act as liaison between Marketing, Manufacturing, Product Development, R&D, Packaging, GSR and Creative in all areas relating to the product-to-market timeline.
* Track the non-saleable elements supporting launch for inception to launch shipment (samples, displays, collateral) working with the various support groups to ensure timely delivery and launch execution.
* Identify when contingency plans are required.
* Follow up with cross-functional departments to ensure delivery on commitment or project requirements.
* Review and approve all packaging artwork and ensure corporate packaging guidelines are adhered to.
* Liaise with International markets or Global Product Supply Team (GPS) colleagues about execution or service issues relating to new product introductions.
* Communicate and take action on launch and supply information activities to all related stakeholders on global and regional basis (e.g., Demand, New Product, Resource, Supply Planning, Customer Service, and Markets).
* Communicate with Regional Supply Planning when launch items are discontinued or move to basic business and act as liaison when changes are required for in-line products (reforms, repacks).
* Review Excess and Obsolescence system(EXOB) and SKU reports monthly in relation to new product launch excess, saleable & collateral, inputting comments and feedback to allow proper action. Ensure all limited life launch skus are discontinued in a timely manner to maintain Brand initiatives in the skus management process.
* Coordinate with Regulatory on all issues regarding product registration. Coordinate registration comps and artwork for those markets requiring for new launches and in-line products.
* Assist in training and on boarding new team members, as required
* Coordinates special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

* Position requires minimum 5 years of Marketing Services, Manufacturing or Marketing experience in cosmetics or a related industry.
* College / University degree required.
* Must be an excellent team player with strong analytical, negotiating and communication skills.
* Excellent follow up and organizational skills required.
* Must possess the ability to multi-task, establish priorities and yet be flexible in an ever-changing environment.
* Ability to use computer systems necessary to meet department objectives including Excel, Word, EXOB, Global Coding, Product Definition System (PDS), SAP, SNP, TLM, and International Marketing Website (IMW).
