Estee Lauder is looking for a talented leader for one of our premier locations in Ridgewood, NH. Must have a passion to work in an innovative, client-focused environment. Ideal candidates will have a successful sales record, strength in managing a team and a drive to achieve personal/team sales goals. Looking for a strong coach and developer, who can also build the business. A background in cosmetics is nice to have, but not required.
The Counter is in charge of a counter and works with store and Estee Lauder management for Beauty Advisor recruitment, selection, retention, new hire orientation and the organization and achievement of daily goals. This position also collaborates with the Education Manager or Market Education Manager to coach and develop Beauty Advisor skill levels.
Responsibilities
Executes counter business plan and expectations.
Sets and manages total counter and individual Beauty Advisor goals.
Achieves personal sales goals.
Creates/executes action plans based on market calendar for goal obtainment.
Executes counter merchandising guidelines.
Manages Beauty Advisor hygiene and image standards.
Recruits and screens potential Estee Lauder Beauty Advisors.
Recruits potential Estee Lauder Beauty Advisors in conjunction with management. Conducts screening consultations.
Manages the orientation and development of Beauty Advisors.
Leads orientation.
Creates and executes development plan with Market Manager for each Beauty Advisor.
Conducts team meetings for on-going communication.
Uses effective management techniques to retain and motivate Consultants.
Qualifications
The candidate has strong leadership skills, is self-reliant and has the ability to manage others for retention, sales and service. Management experience is a plus. Strong selling, planning and communication skills are necessary. High school graduate or equivalent with experience as a Estee Lauder Beauty Advisor and/or counter management experience is preferred.
