## Description
**POSITION SUMMARY:**
Manage all aspects of Michael Kors Color product/program development from concept to final delivery and consistently deliver successful products/programs on time and on budget. This includes helping to define strategic brand objectives, go to market strategy and developing a strong 3 year global innovation plan.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Lead all aspects of Global Marketing for Michael Kors Color. Develop and execute all programs including basic saleable line-up and new product introductions, managing timelines to ensure key dates are met
* Develop seasonal calendar and promotional marketing plans including new product introduction ideation and cadence
* Act as the day to day liason with the fashion house licensor, presenting and tracking programs for approval
* Lead meetings with cross functional teams on status of program development and innovations, and develops and updates project notes
* Develop feasibility costs for all new product development and manage overall cost of goods for all programs
* Identify new short term and long term opportunities through competitive analysis, industry studies, and analyzing sales. Perform SKU and portfolio analysis on an on-going basis
* Leads copy development for product names, descriptions and product claims
* Reviews all packaging, collateral and advertising artwork for accuracy before final artwork release
* Develops promotional and launch presentations for internal global marketing site as the primary communication vehicle for all international markets, making updates as necessary
* Maintains flow of communication with International and Domestic affiliates with regards to marketing calendars, revisions in programs, costing guidelines and brand issues
* Acts as liaison with local market affiliates to ensure brand strategies and objectives are being met for product launches. Execute special market requests as needed
* Prepares materials for presentation of marketing plans to Regions/Markets when applicable
* Main point of contact for all Market Research projects and on-going Consumer Research needs
* Work closely with the rest of the marketing team and always maintain a team building attitude
## Qualifications
**QUALIFICATIONS: **
* Experience in Global Marketing position (5 + years with BS degree) in Color Cosmetic Marketing/Development
* Must have solid understanding of strategic business objectives and the ability to take initiative, anticipate next steps and offer recommendations
* Excellent understanding of project management
* Must be a self starter, accountable and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple projects at one time
* Must have a creative flair to come up with new ideas and recognize creative concepts that will work in the marketplace
* Highly detail oriented with unprompted follow thru
* Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal
