JOB FUNCTION

The HRBP Manager is responsible for day to day communications, mitigating employee relations and engagement issues within the assigned sites/functions based on successful collaborative and trusting relationships with the management and employee team members. In partnership with the Supply Chain / R&D leadership team, pro-actively drives positive employee relations practices and initiatives. The aim of the HRBP is to assist with the execution of HR/Supply Chain/R&D strategies, including, but not limited to: responding and resolving employee incidents and issues, driving continuous improvements, addressing under performers and developing high potentials through effective talent planning and performance development process. Collaboration between the HRBP, COE and Employee Services teams required to ensure accurate investigation, documentation and issue resolution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Motivates, coaches, mentors direct reports, including setting individual and team business and development goals to leverage employees strengths

2. Builds and maintains strong relationships with employees and managers to create an environment of trust, accountability, and open communication for all employees.

3. Advises and supports managers in performance management, talent planning, organizational design and professional development activities. Facilitates and collaborates in talent acquisition activities, as required by local processes

4. Supports Continuous Improvement (LEAN) and Behaviorally-Based Safety activities in manufacturing operations.

5. Proactively identifies employee trends or issues and advises managers on appropriate actions and solutions. Creates a positive employee relations culture, executes on the HR strategy, and manages complex performance management and employee issues.

6. Ensures compliance with regulatory and Company requirements by partnering with the COE's and Employee Services team on interpreting Company policies and procedures. Fosters and maintains a work environment reflective of Estee Lauder values and culture.

7. Facilitates effective communication to managers and employees on Company and local polices, practices, and initiatives. Support change management communications, activities, and programs.

8. Encourages and fosters a culture of engagement that values diversity and inclusion and demonstrates fair and consistent management practices.

9. Performs other duties as assigned, including but not limited to recruiting, supporting corporate events, temporary staffing programs, employee engagement activities, etc.

**Qualifications**

Education:

• Post-Secondary Education, University Degree Preferred

• CHRP/CHRL preferred, Master's degree an asset

Experience:

• 5+ years’ experience in HR Management or a related field

• Experience within Supply Chain / R&D environments preferred

Functional Competencies:

• Strong business knowledge/acumen and experience with implementing organizational design and change management.

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and non-verbal), and interpersonal skills.

• Customer focused and able to build trust and collaborative relationships at all levels.

• High learning agility, strong capability for problem-solving, data analytic & decision making and comfortable with ambiguity.

• Solid track record of driving positive employee relations that builds trust and open communication and Engages, Enables, and Empowers employees.

• Experience with managing talent management, performance management programs

• Working knowledge of related Regulatory Legislation and compliance requirements

• Must be able to accommodate a work schedule which supports 24/7 manufacturing business model

• Driver’s License required, travel between facilities in GTA required (5% of time)
