SWANSEA CITY 2 V 2 CHELSEA
Chelsea were forced to settle for a point after an enthralling contest in South Wales, Diego Costa gave Chelsea an early lead when he fired the Blues ahead in the first half that was dominated by Chelsea, but Chelsea could not add to this and were made to pay when Swansea hit back with two goals in three minutes. Gylfi Sigurdsson from the spot and Leroy Fer, controversially after appearing to get away with a foul on Cahill, calmly stroked the ball into the Chelsea net, were their scorers. Chelsea fought back and Diego Costa’s deflected overhead kick gave Chelsea a point, the first points that have been dropped this season by Antonio Conte’s side.

MANCHESTER UNITED 1 V 2 MANCHESTER CITY
Pep Guardiola emerged victorious from his first Premier League battle with old adversary Jose Mourinho as Manchester City secured a fully deserved win in a frantic Old Trafford derby. Manchester City destroyed United in the first half, with their tempo and quality putting United completely on the back foot.
Kevin de Bruyne’s cool finish and Kelechi Iheanacho’s tap-in after the Belgian hit the post put City in complete control as they outclassed Mourinho’s Manchester United, United were handed a lifeline just before the break when City’s debutant keeper Claudio Bravo summed up his desperately uncertain display by dropping a free-kick to allow Zlatan Ibrahimovic to pull a goal back.
Mourinho made positive changes and United mounted an aerial siege in front of the Stretford End but City held firm to maintain their position at the top of the table, four games played four wins, not a bad start for Pep.

LIVERPOOL 4 V 1 LEICESTER CITY
Liverpool easily beat Premier League champions Leicester in their first home game of the season.
The Reds were comfortable controlling the game from the start, Roberto Firmino converted James Milner’s pass to give Liverpool the lead and a lovely Liverpool move was completed when Daniel Sturridge back heeled to Sadio Mane to clip home a second.
Leicester were given hope when Lucas inexplicably passed the ball to Jamie Vardy to shoot into an empty net.
However, Adam Lallana sealed the win by firing a shot into the top corner and Firmino got a second from Mane’s pass.
Jurgen Klopp’s Reds are up to seven points from four games, having played their first three matches on the road because of the expansion of Anfield’s Main Stand.
Meanwhile, Leicester remain on four points as they prepare for their Champions League debut against Club Brugge on Wednesday.

SUNDERLAND 0 V 3 EVERTON
Romelu Lukaku scored an 11-minute hat-trick as Everton maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a win at Sunderland in the Premier League, the Belgium striker netted his first club goal since March with a header from Idrissa Gueye’s cross, then nodded home Yannick Bolasie’s delivery,he ensured three points for his side with a low finish after running clear.
Jermain Defoe shot over for Sunderland, who are yet to win in the league under former Toffees manager David Moyes.
ARSENAL 2 V 1 SOUTHAMPTON
Santi Cazorla’s stoppage-time penalty gave Arsenal a dramatic victory over a determined Southampton side.
Saints took the lead when Petr Cech tipped a Dusan Tadic free-kick onto the underside of the bar but the ball bounced in off the Gunners keeper.
Laurent Koscielny equalised with a spectacular overhead kick after Cazorla’s corner was not cleared.
Southampton looked like they had done enough to deserve a point, but a controversial decision from the referee, gave Cazorla the chance from the penalty spot, after Jose Fonte was judged to have fouled Olivier Giroud. Cazorla calmly converted the penalty to give the three points to the Gunners and much relief to their fans.

WEST HAM 2 V 4 WATFORD
The shock of the day came at West Ham, where Watford produced a stunning performance to come from 2-0 down to beat the Hammers. Two headers from Michail Antonio had put the hosts firmly in control with 33 minutes played.
However, Odion Ighalo’s deflected shot and a wonderful effort from Troy Deeney levelled it before the break.
Etienne Capoue’s powerful half-volley put the visitors in front and Jose Holebas sealed Watford’s first victory of the season with a shot from 18 yards out. Come the final whistle the stadium was virtually empty apart from the jubilant Watford fans.

BOURNEMOUTH 1 V 0 WEST BROM
Callum Wilson’s superb late goal earned Bournemouth victory over West Brom, their first Premier League win of the season.
The striker connected with Adam Smith’s cross with a deft flick to put the ball just inside the post with 11 minutes remaining at the Vitality Stadium. There was some disgruntled West Brom fans, made even worse by their Manager Tony Pulis’s statement that he did not want to sign the players that joined them in the Summer transfer window. things are not looking good foe the baggies with clear behind the scenes issues !!
West Brom are 13th in the table, level on four points with Bournemouth but one place higher.
STOKE CITY 0 V 4 TOTTENHAM
Tottenham completely humiliated bottom of the table Stoke, Harry Kane ended a nine-match goal drought as Tottenham cruised to a comfortable win, the star of the day for Spurs was Son Heung-min, he steered in a first-half opener before doubling their lead with another smart, angled finish, Dele Alli added the third by slotting in Kyle Walker’s cut-back, before Kane fired in from Son’s low cross.
Stoke, who saw boss Mark Hughes sent off, offered little as their winless start stretched to a fourth game.

MIDDLESBROUGH 1 V 2 CRYSTAL PALACE
Middlesbrough’s unbeaten start to the season came to an end as Crystal Palace claimed their first win of the new campaign with an unexpected victory at the Riverside, Christian Benteke met Wilfried Zaha’s cross before Boro drew level when Daniel Ayala scored an equally powerful header from Stewart Downing’s corner, Zaha put Palace back in front, finishing James McArthur’s through ball
Boro pushed hard for another equaliser, but they could not break down a stubborn Palace defence.
BURNLEY 1 V 1 HULL CITY
Robert Snodgrass scored a 95th-minute free-kick to rescue a point for Hull City in the Premier League at Burnley.
The midfielder curled in from 20 yards following Ben Mee’s foul on Tom Huddlestone.
Steven Defour had put Burnley in front when he picked the ball up in his own half, and as the Hull defence failed to close him down he beat Eldin Jakupovic with a 30-yard shot.
The result means Hull, under the stewardship of caretaker manager Mike Phelan, drop a place to sixth in the table, while Burnley are 15th.
