Still some uncertainties on how to access Epic in the easiest way so you can try both options:

Option A)

Go to epicremotedesktop.nychhc.org and try logging in without other steps (another provider said this worked)

or

Option B)

1) Install or update your anti-virus definitions; if you need a new antivirus, you may use this one from avg.com (for mac use this link)

2) Go to https://secureaccess.nychhc.org

3) Follow the instructions and download Junos Pulse Secure

4) Go to your Java Settings; in Mac, this is under System Preferences (bottom row) –> Security–> make the level of security very high

Once you are in the system:

If you are on a Mac:

5a) Using Safari open a browser; go to: epicremotedesktop.nychhc.org then select “Epic Remote Access”  and boom….you have epic.

If you are on a PC:

5b) I don’t know, because I don’t have a PC, but I assume you should use an Explorer browser to access epicremotedesktop.nychhc.org

*******NB*******

1) As you do the installation – if you run into ANY issues; your first step should be to update your antivirus software to have the most updated definitions for viruses.

2) If you have successfully logged in, and run into issues logging in again at a later date, as above, your first step should be update your antivirus definitions.

If any of these steps are incorrect, see the official email from HHC below and if needed, email/call the enterprise service desk.
