HOUSTON, TX—(Marketwired – June 25, 2015) – A Houston general dentist trained in orthodontics is hosting an essay competition and rewarding the winners with free orthodontic care.

Dr. Behzad Nazari, owner of Antoine Dental Center, recently set up the essay contest to reward children in the community for their random acts of kindness. Dr. Narazi is asking patients — up to the age of 15 years old — to compose an essay about a time they performed a good deed for someone else. The contestants are required to describe the deed and how it affected another person. Dr. Nazari plans to award one patient every month with free orthodontic treatment.

“We hope that this will motivate the youth throughout our city to help change lives and make a positive impact on other community members,” Dr. Nazari said. “We’re happy to reward these children for their acts of kindness by giving them a beautiful smile.”

To be eligible for the contest, the patients must be up–to–date with oral hygiene and free of tooth decay. Dr. Narazi’s orthodontic treatments have helped countless children and adults overcome alignment and bite issues.

“Orthodontics is a major part of my practice, and I take great pride in giving patients a confident smile. It’s touching to see them smiling from ear to ear once their treatment is complete,” the Houston dentist said.

Antoine Dental Center is a multi–dentist practice that offers comprehensive care in general dentistry, restorative dentistry, traditional orthodontics, short–term orthodontics, Invisalign, cosmetic dentistry and dental implants. Dental implants preserve a patient’s jawbone and give patients nearly 90 percent of the chewing force of natural teeth. Dr. Nazari and his staff provide dental implants for missing teeth and All on 4 dental implants to support entire arches of new, permanent teeth.

Dr. Nazari started his career in healthcare as a pharmacist after graduating from Texas Southern University in 1991.
