From now to August 21, transformed by Papa Smurf’s unique magic potion, the Ocean Terminal Forecourt of Harbour City will become an enormous “We’re All Smurfs!” village.

Moreover, an exhibition featuring 36 precious original works of Peyo will debut for the first time. What’s more, a 4-metre high giant Smurf will be greeting us up in the air, together with a display of eight classic comic scenes of The Smurfs.



Smurf fans can collect the Hong Kong Special Edition Smurf figures and premiums from all over the world. Kids can also attend The Smurfs summer school to learn different skills and to get various Smurf certified badges.

Harbour City will also be offering “We’re All Smurfs!” themed dishes, desserts and drinks, ensuring everyone enjoy a smurfy culinary experience.

On the other hand, The Smurfs will work with UNICEF again after their last collaboration in 2008. From 13 July to 21 August, 2016, the Smurfs will launch the “Yes I Smurf!” UNICEF x Smurf Figure Global Online Charity Sale.



The opening ceremony of the exhibition was graced by Nicholas Tytgat, the grandson of Peyo, the creator of the Smurfs, who flew from Belgium to attend the ceremony recently. Harbour City had also invited famous singer and movie star, Aaron Kwok, to be the officiating guest.

Welcome to the Enormous “We’re All Smurfs” Village

Papa Smurf will use his secret magic potion to transform the Ocean Terminal Forecourt of Harbour City into an enormous “We’re All Smurfs” village so that everyone can literally enter the world of The Smurfs. 35 Smurfs at 1-metre-tall  are living happily the village.

Visitors may also enter the 6-metre-tall gigantic mushroom house, where they can play interactive games with other Smurfs with the use of the AR Technology.

World Premiere of original artworks at “The Smurfs House of Stories”

In “The Smurfs House of Stories” at the Gallery by the Harbour, we will pay homage to Peyo, the genius storyteller, revealing aspects of his extraordinary life and talent.

Peyo’s studio will be re-created for this major retrospective, showcasing Peyo’s precious original works that are exhibited to the world publicly for the first time ever.



“The Smurfs” Creative Model Exhibition Local Artists Remodelling Eight Comic Scenes

Harbour City has invited two renowned local miniature artists Tony Lai and Maggie Chan to create models based on the key elements of eight 1:1 comic-strips of The Smurfs and displayed at the corridor on Ground Floor of Gateway Arcade, leading us through the passageway where the comic world and the reality converges.

“The Smurfs Rarities Collection” Pop-up Store

“The Smurfs Rarities Collection” Pop-up Store will be opened at the Atrium I of Gateway Arcade, with a giant 4-metre-high Smurf flying in the sky to greet the visitors. Several limited-edition collectibles, specifically those produced for this Hong Kong tour, will be available in the pop-up store during the exhibition.

These include 316L Black Steel Smurf figure  and wood carved Smurf figure , as well as The Hong Kong style Smurfette figure in red, white and blue dress and the Kung-Fu Smurf figure .

The Smurfs Delicacy

Echoing with the “We’re All Smurfs” Art Exhibition, Harbour City also teams up with many of the restaurants in our shopping mall (including add@Prince, Cafe Marco, Dan Ryan’s Chicago Grill, Han Bing Korean Dessert Café , Homie Cookies, LE CAFÉ de Joël Robuchon, niji bistro and Three on Canton) to proudly present a series of Smurfs Delicacy.

With the Smurfs’ Fantasy High Tea Set, special beverage, desserts and macaroons, Smurf fans can surely extend their happiness and enjoyment to the senses of taste and sight simultaneously.

The Smurfs Summer School

Every Smurf has its own characteristics and talents. Harbour City will open The Smurfs Summer School at the Atrium on Ground Floor of Ocean Terminal and teach kids different skills, including farming, drawing, magic performance, etc. On top of this, kids can get the badge of each skill and attend the graduation ceremony to become one of the Smurfs!

In celebration of the Hong Kong exhibition in Harbour City, The Smurfs sincerely invite you to spread the love and care to every corner of the world.

The Smurfs will work with UNICEF again after their collaboration in 2008. This time the Smurfs will launch the “Yes I Smurf!” UNICEF x Smurf Figure Global Charity Sale in between 13 July and 21 August 2016.

The public can pre-order the Figures online with US$60 at http://www.weareallsmurfs.com and the fundraising mechanism will be activated if the number of pre-order Figures reaches 5,000.

All proceeds from the sale of the Figures after deducting cost will be donated to UNICEF (Belgium) to help children living in poverty.
