Description
Young people have a right and responsibility to think, learn and act to tackle the major challenges of the 21st century, for it is young people who will be living in tomorrow’s world.
Young European Leadership (YEL) invites you to join a series of events seeking to prepare young Europeans to be leaders in their communities at a local, national and European level by equipping them with the skills, knowledge and meaningful relationships they need to have impact. In this way young people can respond positively and proactively to challenges they face, further the Europe project, and be successful future leaders.

Eat to Meet, Wednesday March 5
This highly exclusive event offers you the opportunity to dine with senior European Union decision makers. You will be matched according to your preferences to exchange opinions, ideas, and experiences. This is a unique chance to interact with an authority in the field. It is up to you to make the most out of this evening!

Be a youth reporter
And finally...keen to get real journalistic professional experience in the heart of the EU? Attend these events as a Youth Reporter! We are looking for creative individuals who can help capture and share the key lessons learned and knowledge acquired with our broader virtual community through a rich variety of media formats. Eligibility
This event is open to young people between 18-30 years of age with a keen interest in European Affairs.
Costs
YELW: €55 for the full 3 ½ day programme. Day Passes are available for €25.
ECF: €55 for the two day event.
Costs for both events include lunches and coffee breaks.
Eat to Meet: participants in the YELW or ECF can apply to attend at no additional cost. For successful applicants selected from amongst individuals applying to Eat to Meet only, cost is €50.
Please note that YEL is unable to cover accommodation and travel costs. We can offer a limited number of spaces in shared accommodation, at €22 per night.
