Description

The next Young European Citizens’ Convention of Cluny is taking place from 10 – 20 July 2014 at the majestic site of the famous Cluny Abbey. This 14th edition will be a unique opportunity for about 60 participants from at least 20 countries to deepen and to make their proposals on the topic of European citizenship. This year’s theme is “A Place For Everyone in the European Union“.

Every year since 2001, the Convention brings together around 60 young people from over 20 different countries of the Union and beyond. For 10 days, the participants are invited to discuss a topic which commits the future of the EU, like they did in 2001 in the Convention on the future of Europe (constitutional treaty).
