Responsible for the designing, administering, and
maintaining of the telephony infrastructure.
Ensures network telephony performance and
availability to meet enterprise objectives.
Develops and defines network telephony standards,
practices, and processes. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and
skills in a variety of communication solutions including; Cisco UC,
Avaya, and Unify.
Works under nominal supervision with general
instructions on how to complete assignments to ensure that their
functional output is thorough and complete. Acts as resource for
colleagues with less experience. Relies on extensive experience and
judgment to plan and accomplish goals. May lead and directs the
work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is
expected.

Responsibilities

Design, install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot VoIP UC
servers, infrastructure, and applications.
Work internally and with other departments to meet the needs in
planning, designing, budgeting, building, and managing the VOIP and
Unified Communication system.
Work directly with divisional business leads to find future
enhancements and overcome obstacles with the system.
Provide hardware and software design recommendations for all
SIP based VoIP and Unified Communication elements.
Configure and deploy UC servers, hardware, applications,
Endpoints, and monitoring tools.
Perform routine system updates and disaster recovery
testing.
Act as technical project lead for Telephony Team.
Participate in keeping in control of the Telephony budget by
checking Voice invoices on a monthly basis
Monitor, record, analyze and report on activities, trends,
results and recommendations relating to the telephony systems in a
24/7 environment. Assist with capacity planning and budgetary
preparation
Recognize and identify work that needs to be performed with a
sense of ownership for improving the overall environment.
Manage incident and/or service requests in Remedy to maintain
SLA's.

Qualifications

8-10 years experience in related area

Demonstrates behaviors which are aligned with the

English/Spanish/Portuguese language required for this
position

Researches and assesses available network telephony
technologies in relation to the Company's current and future
needs.
Keeps abreast of industry and technology trends, available
products and services. Applies advanced engineering methodologies
in one or more
engineering areas. Contributes to development of new principles
and concepts.
Evaluates and recommends specific products and platforms to
provide cost effective solutions that meet architectural
requirements.
Experience with 15,000+ user Global Unified Communication
systems.
Experience with Global Contact Centers
Experience with Call Recording solutions
CCNP certification or higher, specialization in Voice or
Collaboration strongly preferred
Experience with router configuration, knowledge of voice mail,
unified messaging, ACD and IVR systems
Provides comprehensive network telephony designs (cost
estimates, product recommendations, configurations, and
implementation plans) for
capital and operating projects.
Provides technical guidance to network telephony technical and
support staff.
Creates and maintains technical drawings and supporting
documentation of the Company's network telephony
infrastructure
Analyzes root causes to quickly recover from network telephony
service interruption and to prevent recurring problems.
Coordinates with outside vendors for the proper designing,
monitoring, maintenance and configuration of network telephony
infrastructure.
Validates invoices and inventory, detects any discrepancy
between usage patterns to carrier plans.
Applies advanced engineering methodologies in one or more
engineering areas. Contributes to development of new principles and
concepts.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in
matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to
work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as
necessary.
Multi-Lingual requirements to support America's. English and
Spanish Required, Portuguese, and French highly desired.
