CMT Crossroads Event to Pair Up Stevie Nicks and Lady Antebellum

The Country Music Television (CMT) network’s popular special called “Crossroads” has announced another odd mix sure to please audiences. The show pairs up singers and groups of disparate music types of perform live in concert. The latest pair to get together are legendary rocker Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac fame and the country group Lady Antebellum. The two acts will perform on stage in Los Angeles and a taped recording will air later this year.

At age 65, Nicks remains active in her career of recording soft rock. Her latest album, “In Your Dreams”, posted respectable sales worldwide, but a far cry from the millions of units sold that her recordings racked up in the 1970s and 80s.

The trio known as Lady Antebellum are at the peak of their popularity with their blend of country pop. The group has sold over twelve million tunes via digital downloads and over ten million CDs to date.

The “Crossroads” concert is set to occur prior to Nicks heading off to a North American tour with Fleetwood Mac. Fleetwood Mac has sold over 100 million records over the past four decades. Their songs remains popular on radio stations to this day.
