I'll admit it: I'm addicted to shoe shopping. I've bought way too many shoes this past year (they don't fit in my closet anymore...) and I've got a bad habit of buying tons of sky-high heels and platform shoes that I never wear (but I really like looking at them ok). Nonetheless, I couldn't resist going on a shoe haul, and I decided to try out some of my favorites from AMIClubwear! Here are four pairs of shoes that I got, including pink floral high-heel booties, camouflage-print sneaker wedges, taupe gradient-heel platform booties, and knit-trim mid-calf lace-up boots. Details ahead!

I actually came across AMIClubwear.com years ago but never ordered from them before, so this is my first time testing out their products. They sell clothes, shoes, swimsuits, intimates, accessories, and more, but I only chose to try their shoes, which are pretty affordable (around $30-40 mostly, but they have a lot of shoes for 50% off!).

In total, I got six pairs of shoes, which added up to just $51.50 total! That's an average of of a little over $8 per pair, which is ridiculously cheap compared to the shoes in stores near me.

My package was shipped out on the 25th and arrived on the 28th, in just 4 business days. The shoes were all packaged nicely, each in their own shoe box, with all the boxes packed into a large cardboard box.

Two of the shoes I picked ended up being out of stock/on backorder, so I'm still waiting for them. Meanwhile, here's how the other four turned out:

The first pair of shoes that I chose were lace-up platform booties with a pink floral print. These shoes, originally selling on AMIClubwear for $29.99, ended up being on sale for just $5 per pair!

The material for these shoes is listed as faux leather, though it has a sort of fabric-y feel to it, so I'm not sure what it is. The heel is about 5", with a 1.5" platform.

These shoes are surprisingly easy to walk in, though the sole is a little slippery on smooth surfaces. The material is very cushioned and soft, making them quite comfortable. On the other hand, the cushioned material also makes the shoe look a bit bulky, and it could get hot in the summer.

These shoes look exactly as pictured on AMIClubwear's product page, with the same soft pink and purple floral print, accented with white soles and white laces. They look similar to sneaker wedges, but the heel adds a touch of femininity to the shape.

Honestly, this is a lot more than I'd expected from $5 shoes! These floral-print booties are comfortable, pretty, and unique, and walking in them is easy and effortless. The colors look a bit dull in my photos for some reason, but the actual product has the same bright, colorful pink tones as the ones pictured in AMIClubwear's photos.

Another pair of sneaker-esque shoes that I got from AMIClubwear were their camouflage-print sneaker wedges, originally costing just $6.99.

These camouflage-print shoes have a canvas fabric outer material, along with black shoelaces and a velcro strap design. The heels measure about 2.5", but they're wedges, so I barely feel them when I wear these!

As with the previous pair, these shoes have a thick, cushion-like material that makes them comfortable, though not so breathable. They're very easy to walk in, and the pattern looks exactly as pictured.

My only complaint with these is that the sole has a layer of felt-like material at the very bottom, and it attracts dust, lint, and little cotton shreds all the time, so there's always a bunch of stuff stuck to it after I walk across carpet.

I personally have mixed feelings about camouflage print. It can look nice in moderation, but a lot of the time it looks cheesy and weird. These are my first and only pair of camouflage-print shoes, and I like how there are solid black details to break up the pattern a bit.

These shoes can be rather difficult to pair with clothing, but they look great with solid colored or simple graphic tops and black skinny jeans. Not really a pair I'd wear around too often because of how distinct and memorable the pattern is, but they'd look great with the right outfit.

Overall, these shoes are also better than I'd expected, especially considering that their original, full price was just $7!

In case you've noticed from some of my previous shoe reviews or my Instagram photos, I've got a thing for platform booties lately, especially those Jeffrey Campbell Lita-esque shoes. I found quite a few similarly-shaped shoes from AMIClubwear, and I decided to try their clear gradient platform booties in taupe. These shoes are priced at $10, and you can also find them in various other colors and styles from the store.

These shoes have the same shape of the popular Jeffrey Campbell Lita booties, with a lace-up front, 5.5" heels, and a 1.5" platform. The zippers on the sides make it easy to put them on, and the shoes are made with a faux suede outer fabric and smooth inner lining.

While the previous two shoes fit true to size, this pair runs a bit narrower, so if you have wider feet, I'd suggest sizing up. It takes some effort for me to zip them up if I'm wearing socks, and I ordered my usual size.

As with the other shoes, these platform booties look exactly as pictured on the product page. The quality seems good overall; the heel is sturdy, the zipper works smoothly, and the stitching is fairly good. The faux suede material scuffs and bends easily though, so you have to be careful when wearing these.

This pair is a bit tougher to walk in, and definitely heavier than the ones I reviewed above. Nonetheless, I love them! The style is gorgeous, and these booties make me look a lot taller and slimmer. I've never bought taupe shoes before, and these are a wonderful addition to my wardrobe. They're super easy to pair with clothes, and the ombre lucite heels add an instant wow-factor to any outfit!

While the previous three pairs were all heeled, I chose a pair of flat-heeled black lace-up mid-calf boots for my fourth pair from AMIClubwear. These boots were the priciest item in my order, originally costing $39.99 but on sale for $16.50.

I've been looking for lace-up mid-calf combat boots for a while, since I had to retire my last pair. I have a lot of lace-up shoes, but this pair stood out to me because of the marbled gray knit trim at the top.

These boots have zippers at the sizes, but the zippers are only there as embellishments. Getting in and out of these boots is rather cumbersome, since I have to unlace and re-lace them each time.

Quality-wise, these shoes seem to be fairly well made. The fabric is faux leather, and thankfully it doesn't have the pungent scent that many faux leather shoes have.

Since there's no heel, these shoes are very easy to walk in, but they are a tiny bit narrow around the bottom and tend to bend around and feel funny when I walk. Maybe I just need to break them in though.

In terms of style, these shoes look exactly as pictured on the site, and I love the subtle yet unique accent that the knit trim gives. They're the go-to boots for everyday wear, and they go wonderfully with nearly every outfit, whether you're adding some edginess to a flirty floral dress, spicing up a skinny-jeans-and-tee ensemble, or rocking them with ripped denim shorts and a crop top.

I'm so glad I got these boots, even if they're not 100% perfect. They're fairly good quality and super versatile, with a cute-yet-casual look that makes them an absolute must in anyone's closet!

My first experience with AMIClubwear was great overall. I'm still waiting on the two backordered pairs of shoes, and I'll definitely post an update or a mini extended review once I get them. I had a lot of fun trying out wacky styles like the floral platform booties and the camouflage sneaker wedges, as well as more commonplace shoes, like the gradient-heel booties and the lace-up mid-calf boots. The quality isn't super amazing, but it's a lot better than I'd anticipated, considering the mindblowingly cheap prices! Only time will tell how long these shoes will last, but so far I'm very happy with them.

xoxo,
