CHEF FORD FRY HOSTS FIFTH ANNUAL JCT. KITCHEN ATTACK OF THE KILLER TOMATO FESTIVAL TO BENEFIT GEORGIA ORGANICS
Atlanta Tomato Fest Welcomes 33 Chefs, 13 Mixologists and 1,400 Attendees on Sunday, July 21
WHAT: The “Attack” is back by popular demand. Due to its continued success in 2012, JCT. Kitchen & Bar is hosting another celebration of the South’s best chefs, farmers and mixologists, who will join forces to benefit Georgia Organics (GO) in the JCT. Kitchen Attack of the Killer Tomato Festival. Each featured chef is paired with a local farmer to create a tomato dish for attendees to sample, while the featured mixologists stir up their own signature tomato cocktails. Festival goers and high-profile judges – Garden & Gun Deputy Editor Dave Mezz, James Beard Award-winning authors Matt and Ted Lee, Food & Wine Associate Food Editor Daniel Gritzer and Esquire restaurant features writer John Mariani – will vote for their favorite dishes and beverages.
The festivities also will include food writer, stylist and photographer Angie Mosier and registered dietician, author and food journalist Carolyn O’Neil as co-masters of ceremonies, as well as live entertainment from The Spazmatics and local chef band Five Bone Rack. Sponsors include Crop Organic Vodka, Farmer’s Botanical Small Batch Organic Gin, Ole Smoky Moonshine, Wild Heaven Craft Beers and Melwood Springs.
Advance tickets purchased by Sunday, June 30 are $55 per person and $50 for Georgia Organics members.
All ticket prices will increase to $70 per person starting Monday, July 1.
