Australia, Sydney, 12 July 2013 — Open Spatial today announced the release of enlighten Business Intelligence (Bi) version 3.1, an update to the powerful support system and corporate geo-portal. Improvements to the solution include compatibility with Autodesk® Infrastructure Map Server 2013, homepage quick links, configurable bookmarks and expanded redline functionality. Improving efficiency for IT managers, enlighten Bi 3.1 supports single sign-on administration, streamlining the authentication process for users.

The improvements are a direct result of user feedback. Allowing customers to submit suggestions for revisions and upgrades has enabled Open Spatial to prioritise the functionality users need for their day-to-day operations. “Our goal at Open Spatial is to deliver solutions our customers want and need. This compatibility release of enlighten demonstrates that we listen and respond to customer feedback,” said Johan Nel, Chief Technical Officer for Open Spatial. Enlighten Bi enables seamless integration of engineering, corporate databases, imagery, mapping data and multimedia.

The software takes advantage of Autodesk Infrastructure Map Server by extending its functionality with solutions for managing water, stormwater and sewer infrastructure assets, as well as property and infrastructure assets for councils, utilities, airports and campuses. Accessed on premise through an Internet browser or in the cloud, enlighten Bi 3.1 requires no browser plugins, zero application software on the desktop and can include managed services. Customers interested in improving the quality of information delivered to their desktop through better utilisation of existing Autodesk products should send an enquiry email to info@openspatial.com.
