Sarah Jessica Parker has given the biggest hint yet that she will be reprising her role as Carrie Bradshaw in a third Sex And The City film.
The actress posted a photo on her Instagram account showing her apparently in character coming out of New York department store Bloomingdales.
Fans of the show and its subsequent films have responded with excitement as a much rumoured reunion of the four main cast members seems to have been confirmed.
Parker wrote on the site: “Well. I guess the cat’s out of the (little brown) bag. As usual, we will keep you posted on every detail as we are able. I’m under strict gag order until then. Xx, Sj”

The 50-year-old actress starred in the hit series with Kim Cattrall (Samantha), Cynthia Nixon (Miranda) and Kristin Davis (Charlotte).
The final episode of the series was watched by over 10 million people in 2004.
The films did well at the box office but the second spin-off, which also starred Jennifer Hudson, took a battering from the critics.
Parker and Davis alluded to a third film in a series of tweets last year when they discussed “news” which they were “excited” about.
