37th annual Scottsdale Culinary Festival set to bloom this April 7 – 12, 2015

Who:     Foodies, philanthropists, chefs, restaurateurs, music enthusiasts and festive revelers eagerly awaiting the return of one of the nation’s longest-running food festivals.

What:    Break out of the deep freeze at the 37th annual Scottsdale Culinary Festival (SCF). Join us April 7 – 12, 2015 for a week of sumptuous, savory delights served with a side of sun-drenched days (average temperature: 84 degrees) and mild, starry nights. Brimming with Champagne brunches and celebrity chef dinners, the SCF is also a guilt-free indulgence, as proceeds from this celebration of the senses benefit the arts and arts education programs across Arizona – with more than $4 million donated since 2002!

Named “Best Annual Event” by the Arizona Republic, “Best Culinary Event” by Arizona Foothills Magazine and winner of six AzTEC (Arizona Talent in Event Concepts) Awards, the SCF is the longest-running food event of its kind, annually attracting more than 30,000 people to 14 distinct, food-forward events sprinkled throughout the city. Best known for its super-sized Great Arizona Picnic (GAP) featuring 50 food booths unspooling across the entire Scottsdale Civic Center, this year’s GAP will be better than ever thanks to return of the Family Zone (a dedicated play area featuring balloon animals and more family-friendly fun).

But that’s just one appetizer at this citywide celebration of the senses. From the trendy cocktail parties like Bubbles & Bliss, to the dessert lovers dream, the Chocolate & Wine Experience (hosted at the stunning Musical Instrument Museum), SCF offers something for all appetites. Not to mention the stylish Eat, Drink & Be Pretty featuring a live Robert Graham runway fashion show, the sumptuous Wine Country Brunch, and a Burger Battle so big it’s hosted inside a stadium. What’s more, the SCF features a series of Chef Wine (or Beer or Cocktail) Dinners at restaurants Valley-wide, as well as showcases the best local talent and nationally noted celebrity chefs at events ranging from intimate kitchen demos to the gourmet festival finale, Best of the Fest.

Between the celebrity-chef dinners, cocktail soirees, Champagne brunches and food-filled picnics, it’s easy to lose track of the Festival’s tastiest takeaway. Every year eager stomachs raise funds that are donated to numerous arts and arts-education charities, with more than $4 million distributed since 2002. With the help of your appetite, we can raise even more in 2015. Mark your calendar and prepare your appetite – you won’t want to miss the 37th Annual Scottsdale Culinary Festival.
