The film was a musical comedy starring Kishore Kumar and Chand Usmani and revolved around Kishore having a set of overprotective parents. This is the song where his father is convinced about his son finding the right match and the joy exhibited by Usmani on screen is felt through Asha’s bouncy rendition.

A robust number where Jeetendra and Sridevi do all kinds of calisthenics. You needed singers who have a lively sense of humour to pull it off and thankfully Asha and Kishore both possessed that amply.

It’s one of the raunchiest rain songs ever without crossing the bounds of decency and listening to it, one can gauge that both Asha and Kishore had lots of fun singing it. Amitabh Bachchan and Smita Patil were at their steamy best on screen.
