Ha ha ha Liliane, you crack me up. Hmm, the trials and tribulations of long term relationships.
Jack, I use my slow cooker all the time in the winter, its nice to come home to the smell of your dinner wafting through the door (as long as its not Loosejeans beef/mackeral combo) and knowing all you have to wash is the one pot. Chillis, curries, casseroles, soups, all on the go. I tend to make a wee bit too much and OH goes back for seconds (and sometimes thirds). I've never cooked a whole chicken as my slow cooker is only a 1ltr but a friend of mine put a whole beef joint in hers and said it was absolutely delicious, the meat just falls from the bone.
Would love to hear anyones recipes if they have them.
