Holidays around here are busy. We try to pack in as many events and activities as we possibly can before January. Which essentially only gives us four weekends from Christmas tree up to take down. We love to go skating, christmas shopping, and visit Santa. We love to host people in our home and go visiting other loved ones. Every weekend minute is scheduled. You think I’m kidding? I’m not. It is a whirl wind of fun.
And fun with Dugans ALWAYS involves good food. It is kind of a family joke. Every celebration is celebrated around a great spread. But because we are usually rushing out the door, breakfasts can be pretty lame, especially around Christmas time. Sad right?
But not with Arla Dofino. This morning I created this yummy breakfast Bruschetta with Arla Dofino Cheese almost as fast as I could pour a bowl of cereal.
The result?
Delicious! We all love bread and eggs. Pair them with Arla Dofino cheese and some veggies, and you have the best breakfast food that has ever hit your tongue. I swear.
All you need is:
Ingredients
Arla Dofino Cheese ( I used creamy Havarti ) Arla Dofino cheeses have been crafted in Wisconsin for more than 100 years! They are also free of preservatives and hormones!
5 eggs to scramble with salt and pepper and a dash of oregano and basil
Peppers
Spinach
1 tomato
French Bread
A Hungry Family
First you need to make a small bed in the bread by just taking out a bit of the bread in the middle like so…
I drizzled the bread with olive oil and baked for about 10 minutes at 350 degrees
Then I added some spinach
Next I added my scrambled egg. And then I decorated with tomatoes, Arla Dofino Cheese and peppers!
It went back into the oven for another 5 minutes so that yummy cheese could melt
