Fabricio Werdum proved himself the best heavyweight in the world (at least when fighting a mile and a half above sea level), Eddie Alvarez upset the applecart with a split decision over Gil Melendez, and Yair Rodriguez made a name for himself as a real future talent at 145 lbs.
