Greg Belson hosts this monthly excursion into rare soul, raw funk and other wild madness from the 1960-70′s. All the tunes are are from 45 RPM discs selected for your listening pleasure. And this month, we have a very special extended 45′s of Fury show planned….2 hours dedicated to the heavy dancefloor spins from the northern soul sceme. This months special guest selectors are DJ Bywell, Nancy Yahiro and Andy Cobb.

DJ Bywell is a Laguna Nigeul transplant by way of Leeds UK, and has been a devotee to the soul scene all of his adult life. He attended the infamous Wigan Casino Allnighters for 5 years solid and trod the boards hard whilst picking up so many quality tunes in the record bars. He’s DJ’d at Brighouse and the Peacock, Leeds in the UK before moving to the United States, where he’s DJ’d various venues around Los Angeles, as well as arguably the best weekender in the US, the Seattle Soul Weekender.

Nancy Yahiro is a native of Los Angeles and has been collecting records and DJ’ing around the globe for years. Her penchant for finding rare records is uncanny and has a collection to boast of that rivals anybody in the scene. She used to run various soul events around LA before spending time out in Italy for a few years, DJ’ing everywhere except Torino. She’s played venues around the UK too including the Lowton Allnighters and guested on Richard Searling’s radio show.

Andy Cobb is a Norwich UK boy born and bred, and moved to LA almost 15 years ago. His first foray into northern soul was as a 17 year old, hungry for the nighter bug and that rare soul fix. He’s attended clubs like the Norwich Backstreet Soul Club, Stafford Top of the World, the Kings Head Mansfield and the 100 Club….and he’s had the pleasure of DJ’ing around the UK and US at venues including the amazing Seattle Soul Weekender and recently a turn at his alma mater, the Backstreet Soul Club.
