Love Potion No. 9 Fundraiser is a free event for all, about LOVE for the artistic performer of UrsulaInc and giving back to the Atlanta community of which atlantian, founder and recent choreographer on the VH1 T.I & Tiny Family Hustle, Ursula Kendall (UrsulaInc) strongly supports and currently performs in. Love Potion No. 9′s purpose is to present the creative works by UrsulaInc and highlight some of her artistic friends in the process of her choreographic visions. In the midst of the fundraiser, proceeds from donations will support the Woman2Women™ project which helps further the conversations and dialog needed to produce yet another sucessful SHE Created IT™ event in 2015. A touring festival that presents a platform of professional female artist UrsulaInc and Colleagues, promoting arts in communities of dance workshops and round table discussion seminars Woman2Women.

“Our Story” African American History: Told Through Visual & Performing Arts

An Evening of African American History: Told Through Visual & Performing Arts will give a voice to “Our Story”. The event features celebrated Sculptor Stephen Hayes’ Award Winning exhibit Cash Crop. This will be the last gallery showing of Cash Crop in the Atlanta area before the moving and emotional exhibit travels throughout the United States in 2014. There will be special guest performances by Sunday Morning: The History of Church & Christianity in the African American Community during the Civil Rights Movement, illustrated through a soul stirring dance performance and an enlightening Spoken Word performance by a distinguished artist, Brandy Jones. Michael “Rev. Mike” Wortham, Assistant Pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church and Founder of “Consider This” will serve as the evening’s host.

Women 2 Women Conference featuring Dr. Maya Angelou
Young Eventions Group (YEG), an Atlanta-based nonprofit mentoring organization for women, presents the Women 2 Women 2014 Inaugural Conference: Intergenerational Life Lessons & Legacies with special honored guest and keynote speaker, Dr. Maya Angelou. The day-long conference will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis from 7:00 am – 4:30 pm and is designed to bring women together across generations to share life lessons and experiences that will inspire and empower attendees to transform their lives and be a catalyst for change in the home, community and in the workplace.
