#10 Remembering Trayvon a community collective exhibition now exhibiting at The Hammonds House. memorial exhibit features various renderings via photographic, digital art, and hand-drawn mediums, of Trayvon Martin, the seventeen-year-old tragically slain in Sanford, Florida in 2012. Auburn Avenue Research Library in collaboration with The Hammonds House and Malcolm X Grassroots movement wants you to remember Trayvon. Don’t miss this exhibit now showing now till February 23rd. #9 Let’s move from one exhibit to another. “Romare at the NAC: Photographs by Jim Alexander” host Opening Reception to kick off an exhibit and A look back to 1978, when iconic African-American Artist Romare Bearden visited Atlanta’s Neighborhood Arts Center.
