Fiat-Chrysler is expanding Alfa Romeo’s Canadian dealership network with a new location in Ontario.
After undergoing an extensive set of renovations, Maserati Alfa Romeo of Oakville officially opened its doors May 9. Located just outside of Toronto, this dealer is the first of its kind in Canada, selling both Maserati and Alfa Romeo cars under one roof .

“To me, it’s been a dream of a life and I feel very fortunate to represent one of the greatest brands in the world,” Remo Ferri, luxury car dealer and owner of Maserati Alfa Romeo of Oakville, said. “As an Italian, Alfa Romeo holds a very special spot in my heart.”
Ferri was one of the first supporters and dealers behind Fiat’s return to North America in 2012. An extensive dealer network and a long-standing relationship with Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne helped establish Ferri as one of the top contenders to take on a role in expanding Alfa Romeo’s presence in North America.

“I know that Alfa Romeo has always had its special place in Remo’s heart and he still has some of the classics in his collection,” Marchionne said. “He believes that you are not a true petrol head unless you have owned an Alfa Romeo in your life, so I’m happy and honoured that Remo is here to take this next phenomenal step together with us.”
Powered by a 237-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the slinky 4C sports car is just the tip of the iceberg for Alfa Romeo’s future, with Marchionne calling the growing dealership network a “truly historic” moment for the brand. By 2019, we can expect to see an SUV and a new sedan from Alfa Romeo, as well as a family of new powertrains – including a “Ferrari-derived” V6 engine.
Remo Ferri’s dealership network includes other high-profile brands, such as Ferrari and Rolls-Royce, with locations across Ontario and Alberta. Currently, there are six Alfa Romeo dealerships in Canada – three in Ontario, two in Quebec and one in British Columbia.
