The mobile photography genre is taking the photography world by storm. Everything in it is mind-blowing and the tremendous popularity rise of mobile photography is on the fast lane. The VGA camera we used to have with our phones before had evolved rapidly and continues to improve. Many have said that your phone camera is your best and reliable camera because it’s with you all the time. And that taking photos with mobile phones is not just mere passion but a trend.

Compared to conventional photography that requires a PC or a laptop, a resource-heavy  image processing software and a bulky digital camera, mobile photography only require a smartphone with a good camera. And if you intend to post-process your photos and publish it, image editing apps are instantly available and publishing is just a tap of a button.

Below are the photo editing apps I have tried and tested. These cool apps are widely used most preferred by mobile photographers. Some have in-app purchases and premium versions but the basic features is enough to meet your needs.

Say something about yourself

An outdoors person. I go out and enjoy my travels, walks and stops as much as I can. From the tops of mountains to the clear turquoise waters of the sea. From wide fields and forests and back to the high concrete walls of the city. Looking up to the skies be it a clear or cloudy rainy day.

What’s your secret in making such awesome mobile photos?

I think patience is a big factor.. most photographers have a lot of patience.. waiting for the ‘perfect’ moments..

Think and make everything you see a possible subject for a shot..be it a group of laughing students/people to a simple table decor or a desk filled with your stuff..

Look forward and ‘enjoy’ wherever you are headed especially if you are planning to shoot some photos..whether it’s a photowalk or a trip to the mall or the outdoors. A photo will always be a photo.

Practice and lots and lots of practice. Always think that there are no bad photos/shots. Only good and better shots as you progress.

Lastly, just keep shooting. Nowadays the only limit when shooting is when you stop and say ‘NO’ to yourself. Otherwise, you will always find something that would catch your attention and save it. A moment of time for keeps.

I’m Glister del Socorro. I enjoy blogging and taking pictures. Since I got my Huawei P9, I got hooked to mobile photography. It’s now the camera that I take with me wherever I go. Most of my shots are nature and natural landscape. My favorite subject for nature photography is waterfalls

What’s your secret in making such awesome mobile photos?

Take lots and lots of pictures. Capture shots from many angles to have different perspectives. Then be selective. Choose only the best photos then try to edit them. Experiment with filters and apply adjustments to improve the visual impact. But never over- edit your photos. Always leave some authenticity in the beauty of your pictures.

I’m an adventurer and shutterbug who loves to take meaningful photos of landscape and people. I love traveling but I don’t get to do it often so I feel like my camera is my passport. It allows me to go places just by taking photos. I really believe that meaningful and powerful photos can change one’s perception of the world.

What’s your secret in making such awesome mobile photos?

Find the right timing. If you need to chase the sunrise and sunset, then do so. 2) Don’t be afraid to experiment with different angles, composition, lighting, and style. Since it’s mobile photography, you don’t have much control over the settings so learn the ins and outs of your phone camera. 3) Enhance your photos through mobile-editing apps like VSCO, Snapseed, or Lightroom.

I am Rady Bagnol also known as radysetgo. I am a travel blogger and amateur photographer. I usually use an action camera and a dslr to capture most of travels and just recently tried using my phone for photography.

What’s your secret in making such awesome mobile photos?

Use your gridlines (if your phones have any). It helps in making your photos more proportioned.

Capture things with good lighting. One thing that limits me when taking pictures using a phone is that there are less settings to play with. So taking a photo in good lighting makes it more decent.

With regards to editing, as much as possible, explore your chosen editing app. Be the master of it

Say something about yourself

I like to go to mountains, hills, waterfalls, rivers, beach, anything with nature. Anything that refreshes me from the daily pressure and stress of being an adult is what I love most.

I’m into mobile photography even before I started blogging because I’m in to Instagram. Firstly, I don’t have a DSLR camera thus I’m utilizing my own phone. Secondly, phones are easier to shoot however there could be limitations. Above all, it’s how you compose the photo that what matters most.

I love how phones nowadays could be as powerful as DSLRs and they could produce such amazing photos, of course with a little bit of enhancement with photo editing app, vsco.

I think I would stay longer in mobile photography because I’m still having fun with it. <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/2/72x72/1f642.png" alt="
