WileE2005
Original Walt Disney Classics intro (1980-1984): Similar to the 1978 Walt Disney Home Entertainment logo, but instead of the regular music, we hear loud horror-type music played on electric keyboards and Moog synthesizers. The "Walt Disney" script text is in a ghostly shade of white, and "CLASSICS" in an ugly font zooms up at a fast pace underneath "Walt Disney." The music increases in suspense as after the Mickey outlines turn green, instead of fading out, the logo continues as the outlines continue rotating, then they turn lavender and begin to increase in rotating speed. Then they turn gray and spin even faster! Soon they slow down again, and then the outlines turn a scary white color, and then the outlines face us as an evil version of Mickey Mouse's face appears on the head, and Mickey begins laughing in an evil repeating high-pitched maniacal laugh as a bright flash is seen and smoke begins rising from the bottom. After laughing a bit, another flash is seen and Mickey claps his hands together, and Mickey and text both disappear in a puff of smoke as lighting flashes with booming thunder. Then the lightning is gone, the thunder fades and the smoke clears, and all that's left is a black screen.

This was seen on the earliest VHS releases of Disney feature films, in white clamshells that has the Walt Disney Classics print logo on top, featuring Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Minnie and Daisy holding hands and strolling together under a happy sun and rainbow. It has been rumored that most of the videos featuring this logo were burned because the logo was so scary. Still used in the UK, however.

Walt Disney Classics (2008 - present): A digital HD remake of the 1988 Classics logo. We begin with a CGI Sorcerer Mickey standing in a blue spotlight on a black background. As we zoom up to his hand, Mickey raises up his arm a bit and blinks. The flying spark is now more detailed, moving a little slower, and has a bit of white pixie dust trailing from it. Instead of a blue background, it fades up to a violent-lavender gradient background with stars, and the diamond is more metallic (ala the 1988 prototype logo), and only zooms in slightly (as it appears a bit closer to the screen than the original). As the "Walt Disney" text continues writing and "CLASSICS" (in the same Lo-Type font as the original) zooms onto the diamond, semi-transparent clips from Pinocchio, Bambi, Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King can be seen in the diamond, fading once the words have settled into place. The magic comet has more of a gold color to it now, and when the text changes to gold, some fireworks explode in the background behind the diamond. The logo then "shines" until it fades out.
The animation for this logo was by Weta Digital, the same company that animated the 2006-present Walt Disney Pictures logo. The music is the same as the 1988 Classics logo, presented as the 1992 distorted bass-heavy version, played in full (instead of fading out early as seen on 1992-1994 VHS releases.) It first appeared on the 2008 Platinum Edition DVD of 101 Dalmatians, and appears on most (if not all) DVD and Blu-Ray releases of Disney's official animated features (as well as recent releases of Mary Poppins, Saludos Amigos, The Three Caballeros, Toy Story and Pete's Dragon.)

Disney Video Hits (2010): The current logo plays, then we see the film logo, which has Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Minnie and Daisy holding hands and strolling together under a happy sun and rainbow. The text "Disney Video Hits" appears.

MARVEL VS. CAPCOM: Forever (Japanese DVD and Blu-ray, May 7, 2010): The current Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment logo plays as usual, but clips of gameplay from X-MEN VS. STREET FIGHTER to MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 2 replace the clips from well-known Disney films and at the end, the text "Disney" is replaced by the text "Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment" in Japanese, the text "A Buena Vista Company" is in Sans Serif, and the castle is replaced by Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Minnie and Daisy holding hands and strolling together under a happy sun and rainbow. In TV spots and trailers (in Japan only), the Servbots (from the Mega Man series) destroy the castle, and Scrooge McDuck says "Reverse!", causing the shattered glass to fall out from the clouds, which return to their usual places and reform the castle and the Disney (in its post-1979 script font) text. We hear Scrooge say, "There! Much better."

Flipnote and Flipnote Again (2009): We see Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Minnie and Daisy holding hands and strolling together under a happy sun and rainbow. Later the logo explodes into the current logo. The camera pans to the window of the castle, exactly much like Enchanted (2007). Aaron takes out a book and opens it, revealing the One Word story part: Pandas rule the earth, but then they swam down until lions wearing underwear with two atomic alligators. They danced wildly and noisy. Then a big noise was kissing. The devil wears wheat bread and eats tofu. Then suddenly an elephant tried to have wrestling party with the big penguin who didn't even smile and laugh. After a huge fight, the elephant burst out laughing. When they became evil, the secret panda dictator showed up. The elephant had left a ton of brand new laptops to use. They found worthy lions in the Japanese Earth complex. Aaron took a laptop. But he accidentally tripped on the lion's tail. The laptop blew away and broke the panda's watch! He got mad and punched Aaron, but Aaron took an Oreo and flung it across at the big-headed pen. Apocalypse had pooped outside the Japanese region until Aaron took the sword of Hatena and killed the lion. Then Ace Spades cried wolf about CHAOS' sheep Flipnotes being scary after he cried potato. They took a yellow DSi that could be fat and ugly like a trash heap. MachoNacho had helped Lady Gaga kill fred from Flipnote Hatena, but failed. The panda killed a nacho chip and screamed chaos. Then, MachoNacho and CHAOS ate Lady Gaga. The lions didn't like it because kitties rule Lady Gaga. CHAOS then slapped my cheese. Lady Gaga slapped Ace Spades and burped in CHAOS' bra. Aaron sang the National Anthem in Japanese. But fred from Hatena said "Besides, I am Boss' biggest fan." Anyway, let's find some chunks of Hatena kitty!
"It's very... very hard," fred said.
MachoNacho then grabbed a piece of Hatena and tossed a banana at Mr. Bean.
"Thanks Captain Underpants!" fred said.
Then killer FlipnoteReed implanted bugs on Hatena Haiku and Pikachu zapped Hatena staff on Friday night while he choked watching toilets on ice. (Note: Due to its nonsensical and violent themes, the DVD and Blu-ray release of Flipnote & Flipnote Again was instead released under the Touchstone Home Entertainment label, and in subsequent releases, the 1987-2003 Touchstone Home Video logo (with the basic "HOME VIDEO" seen from 1987-2002) appears. This is likely due to the DVD using a cira-1980s VHS tape master of the film. However, it will be restored on TV airings and the 2-disc Special Edition on Blu-ray disc.) This is also displayed as a looping video at the Flipnote Museum in the UK.

Yoshi kicks his Butt (1998): We see Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Minnie, and Daisy holding hands together strolling under a happy sun and rainbow. After a few seconds, Yoshi ground pounds them one-by-one. He later walks under the happy sun and rainbow. All of sudden, Yoshi shakes with fear as the clouds turn into cumulonimbus. He screams "I WANT MY MOMMY!". Lightning strikes the rainbow and sun. Then, a tornado picks him up. Which hurls Yoshi into the sky. Later, he found himself on heaven, Calmed down. He looks at God and says "Have you seen my pals?", God replies ''Oh, yes they seem to be dead. He sees that the sun and rainbow appear. He continues doing the same thing as before (walking under the happy sun and rainbow), as "Walt Disney Home Entertainment" appears briefly in a Yoshi font.

The Search for a Whole New World (1992, VHS): The 1991 Feature Presentation logo plays, but takes place in outer space.

Also, the 1986 Walt Disney Home Video logo is cut short and its music is the same as the 1991 Walt Disney Home Video logo.
DQMJ the Movie (2006): (These variants come after the DVD menu and are only seen in the US and Japan.) Same as the Special Preview after our feature from Walt Disney Home Video variant, except at the end of the logo, a slime (from Dragon Quest) casts "Frizz" on the logo, causing it to catch fire. Mark Elliot announces, "Oh, (dolphin chirps)." The dolphin chirp soundbite is from the Spongebob Squarepants episode Sailor Mouth.

The second variant is the same as the 1991-1999 Feature Presentation logo (original variant), except near the end, a dracky sucks the life out of the logo, making it deflate, and Mark Elliot announces, yet again, "You (dolphin chirps) monsters... DON'T YOU HAVE ANYTHING BETTER TO DO THAN DESTROY THOSE LOGOS?!" Also, the 1989 FP music is extended.

Happy Holidays with the Quack Pack (1997): Same as the Quack Pack variant of the Feature Program logo, but there is a christmas tree next to Donald's chair. Also, Donald Duck is wearing a Santa hat.

Lady and the Tramp (1993 print): Before the preview of The Nightmare Before Christmas in this VHS, the logo is the same as the Now on Videocassette logo from Robin Hood (WDMC, 1994), but says "Coming to Theatres". The audio is the same as the Coming to Theatres from Walt Disney Pictures logo, but with the 1989 Feature Presentation music.
