Pakistan fashion fraternity has progressed quite well in previous few years. Many expensive fashion brands like HSY, Sana Safinaz, Fahad Hussain, Umer Sayeed, Maria B. are well known among masses. One major reason for this popularity is the LAWN, a fabric which is a popular summer wear among females for decades. In few parts of our country with mild winters like Karachi it is worn almost all year round. In other areas LAWN is worn from six to eight months.
From past few years nearly all the fashion designers and fashion houses have introduced their own signature LAWN thus reaching a larger customer base. The price range of designer LAWN collection varies from PKR 4000 to even more than 10,000 PKR per suite. Many celebrities have also introduced their own LAWNS like Vaneeza Ahmed,Junaid Jamshed, Hadiqa Kiani, Nadia Hussain.
The newest addition in this list is a new brand ALH stepping into the fashion fraternity by introducing its LAWN from next week. ALH!!!!! haven’t anyone guessed yet, its the hardil azeez media personality Aamir Liaqut Hussain. The name of of ALH LAWN is a traditional eastern word Aanchal a true reflection of “Eastern Values” one can observe in the shows hosted by Aamir Liaqut Hussain (excluding Aalim Online)
Aamir Liaqut Hussain started the media career by hosting famous religious show Aalim Online on Geo Tv some 10-12 years ago which received high TRP’s. Later he hosted the colorful, spectacular and extravagant Ramazan Transmission of Geo Tv which received even higher TRP’s. Next was a game show Inaam Ghar, which as per Geo Tv is the most watched game show in Asia. The next field to conquer was the morning show which Aamir Liaqut Hussain also hosted on Geo Tv i.e. Subah Pakistan.
With so much achievements under his belt definitely the next fortress to be conquered is the Fashion & Ramp. Introduction of ALH brand and ALH Lawn is a one “small step” in this direction. But its such small steps which lead to “big success”.
