“Leverage” Season Five:

“Leverage” focuses on a team led by former insurance investigator turned thief, Nate Ford (Timothy Hutton). Together, they try to level the playing field for people whose lives have been destroyed by the rich and powerful. In the final season, the team will be forced to face changing personal dynamics as the relationship between Parker (Beth Riesgraf) and Hardison (Aldis Hodge) heats up, and Nate continues to struggle with inner demons. Among their upcoming jobs, they will target a conniving shipping executive (guest star Cary Elwes); weathly scientist; an ex-hockey-player-turned-team-owner (guest star Treat Williams); a corrupt restaurateur; and a corrupt businessman (guest star Matthew Lillard). In addition, the team will once again face their nemesis, insurance-investigator-turned Interpol-agent Jim Sterling (guest star Mark Sheppard).

As a Leverage fan, I was so happy I had the chance to review season 5 because I did mess some episodes so this allowed me to fill in the missing pieces. When I started watching the season, I finished the whole season within a week. It did not take me long but also it was a great way to relax and take it easy with a new baby. I do have to say I am sad that the show is over and there will not be any more. It always makes me said when a good show ends. During my time of watching the series I have come to really appreciate the writing and the storyline. The actors have done an outstanding job and really made their characters what they were. I am happy that the series ended with an actually ending. You are not left with wondering what about this or what about that. If you have never watched Leverage or have watched some episodes, I highly recommend taking the time and watching the full series.
