Dear Mike Laidlaw and the Dragon Age development team,
I am delivering this message on behalf of many users of the Dragon Age Wiki, who feel that the barrage of insults directed at Jennifer Hepler have been juvenile, unjustified, and unworthy of Dragon Age fans. In no way do we at the wiki condone such actions. We continue to be fans of the world you have created, and are just as appalled as you are over the actions taken against Mrs. Hepler. Not appreciating the work she, or any of you, have done is an exercise in poor judgment in and of itself. But to go to such lengths as to attack Mrs. Hepler on a personal level for such petty reasons is simply deplorable. I can assure you that we at the Dragon Age Wiki strongly condemn such pointless, vitriolic behavior, and we pray that Mrs. Hepler is not negatively affected by this aggressive personal attack against her. As such, we would like to make a humble request for you to be kind enough to pass along our most sincere support for Ms. Hepler at this no doubt difficult time. We wish her the absolute best in her career and personal life, and it is our hope that this is the last of such incidents.

::All the vandalism has no been reverted and the vandal blocked. If you're ever interested interested in tracking someone's edits you can go to their contributions from the tab in their user page, or for mass bouts of vandalism [[Special:Recentchanges]] is pretty useful. I've noticed some IP addresses have been blocked indefinitely for small vandalism, but I would suggest to avoid it since it is possible the IP address will be reassigned to someone else (see [[Wikipedia:Wikipedia:Blocking IP addresses|this page on Wikipedia]]). Unless it's mass vandalism, or a repetitive disruptive behavior (e.g., the IP address shows up again as a vandal after 3 months), then a year-long block (or longer) is more adequate in my opinion. You may do an IP range block if necessary, though it's done with caution.

:This is something with the Wikia's servers. You need to purge the page in order to see the list correctly. You can do it by clicking [http://dragonage.wikia.com/index.php?title=User_blog:Ygrain&action=purge here] (it is done by adding &action=purge to a page). I've done it recently so it should appear correctly. King Cousland: You seem to have some inner working knowledge that the rest of us lack, could you please give us a hint to why the creators decided to throw Dragon Age II in the trash, why could they not just be good enough to there fans and loyal buyers to give us 1 or 2 more DLC's to bring the Hawke story to a closure. Or do you have information that we lack that they will be dealing with Hawke and Warden/Warden Commander in Dragon Age III. Have you heard or seen what there status is on Dragon Age III, I saw where they said it was in development, but they did not say if they are just now starting on it or if they have been working it for months. I have also seen nothing stating on a possible release date, I was wondering if they are planing on Christmas or March of 2013, or how long, because the longer they hold off on putting out Dragon Age III. They will loose potential fans and gamers, I know personally I have already started looking for something else to play, I purchased ME3 and what a let down. Sorry do not mean to be a spoiler.

Hi, I’m a long-time lurker/first-time poster so I apologize if I have inadvertently left an awkward message. I’m still very new to the Wiki and uncertain how to post anything anywhere without advertising my ineptitude, but I was wondering if the Wiki page about the Sabrae clan is misleading. The DA2 Codex entry: Merrill states that Marethari is Sabrae and that Merrill is originally Alerion. During the Dalish Warden Origin, Ashalle states that the Warden’s father – the clan’s previous Keeper – was killed during an unsanctioned tryst with a huntress from yet another (unnamed) tribe. Isn’t it possible that Marethari (and Merrill) ‘transferred’ from Sabrae to Maharial Clan? It would be logical that by the Dragon Age each clan is made up of members from different tribes since during Arlathvhens a few elves probably join other clans due to necessity, marriage, or curiosity. It is complete speculation on my part but it would make sense that some Dalish may bear the names of the clans they are born into – Marethari Sabrae, Merrill Alerion, Lyna/Theron Mahariel. Unless there is definitive text or mention somewhere, couldn’t it be possible the Dalish Warden’s clan might still be Mahariel and not Sabrae? Could this be a case of taking a DA2 Codex Entry a little too literally? Anyway, thanks for your time and patience reading this! We generally discuss these things and my stance has usually been that we want to keep the front page clear of clutter. However, since The Old Republic is one of BioWare's flagship product, I feel that there might be a case here.
