Santa Ana, CA (March 18, 2015) – Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Georgia on April 9-12 is one of only two events where all the stars and all the cars from the National Mustang Racers Association (NMRA) and the National Muscle Car Association (NMCA) are in one place, racing for big cash prizes and the right to stand in the Aerospace Components Winners Circle! The 7th Annual Borla Exhaust NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals presented by Miller Welders brings all the excitement of heads-up drag racing along with a huge all-domestic car show and giant manufacturers’ midway complete with top automotive companies and their representatives. It’s the best value in motorsports for fans of all ages!
The NMRA Keystone Automotive All-Ford series attracts some of the fastest Mustangs and Fords from around the United States and Canada to the event in Commerce, Georgia. From tire-smokin’ VP Racing Fuels Street Outlaws that scream down the quarter mile at over 200 mph to pristine Cobra Jets and brand new 2015 Mustang GTs, fans are treated to the best Ford has to offer in performance cars and trucks. The NMCA Flowmaster Muscle Car series brings all types of American muscle cars including early- and late-model Camaros, Challengers and more. Chevy vs. Ford is a common sight and one that gets the fans on their feet as they cheer on their favorite brand! 250+ mph VP Racing Fuels Pro Mods join the Stainless Works Street Outlaw class, alongside nine other classes in the NMCA series for even more excitement on track. The street legal Gear Vendors True Street class makes drag racing budget-friendly and easy for just about anyone with a need for speed to participate in the sport.
The NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals is one of the biggest and most exciting events of the season featuring some of the world’s fastest American muscle cars. Named “Georgia’s House of Speed”, Atlanta Dragway’s staff works closely with the NMRA/NMCA team to make sure that the track surface is super sticky. Racers will appreciate the consistency on the racetrack and the diehard fans will be ready to cheer them on as they go head-to-head and put their cars on the ragged edge!
Spectators can also look forward to several exhibition runs by Scott Holdridge in his “Fifty Cal” Jet Dragster capable of 300 mph. When Holdridge hits the throttle and fires off the jet engine in his dragster, there’s no doubt that he’s capable of breaking records. It’s something you have to see to believe! When it’s time to slow the pace a bit, the giant all domestic car show is happening on both Saturday and Sunday complete with hundreds of early- and late-model cars and trucks as well as street rods, hot rods and more!
