at the 2011 Tony Awards .

The 68th Annual Tony Awards are being held this Sunday where the Broadway productions of the 2013-14 season will be honored with Broadway’s equivalent to the Academy Awards. The ceremony returned to its home in Radio City Music Hall last year after a two-year stay at the Beacon Theater. CBS will broadcast the awards live beginning at 8 p.m. EST.

This year’s awards will be hosted by Hugh Jackman, replacing the Master of Ceremonies for the last three years, Neil Patrick Harris. Wolverine has a long history with Tony’s, having led the broadcast three other consecutive times in the early 2000′s, and he also won the award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical for “The Boy from Oz” back in 2004.

27 productions received nominations this year. Award categories are divided between traditional plays and musicals and can include brand-new stories and also revivals of Broadway’s past. The nominees this year are…
