**Marketing Manager:**

We are looking for a Marketing Manager for a new digital media product aimed at millennials. The product will be a self-contained business with enterprise and startup culture baked into its DNA.

You will have a track record of:
Designing, implementing and managing technical components of marketing, such as:

* Marketing automation tools
* CRM – Salesforce
* SEO/SEM
* Analytics
* Tracking

But on top of all that you have a passion for spreading and sharing a digital comment/news vision that is irreverent, photo-driven, and lives on social. You will understand what’s water-cooler and why and you will be driven to break the site open using everything from memes to metrics.
We seek a marketing manager to focus on the ideation and development of ad products and sponsorship packages for our new maverick news/opinion site. You will be both marketing to our advertiser partners and marketing the site itself, helping it become known. Thus, you should be proactive, collaborative, and passionate about breaking open a new digital opinion brand via social advertising. You should have ideas on revenue strategies, and a solid track record of building compelling digital marketing programs and packages across news and lifestyle verticals (politics, gaming, style, food, travel, etc.)
Our Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and marketing ad products and packages with the overall goal of driving advertiser and revenue growth, and also will be in charge of marketing the band of the site itself. Any successful candidate is data and results-driven, with a mastery of market trends to aid best practices. He or she will be a team player and comfortable working across various areas of a large company.

**Experience/Skills:**

* Demonstrated ability to develop best-in-class product marketing materials and go-to-market strategies
* Understand the social web and are well versed in the world of online advertising

**About You:**

* Bachelor's degree preferred
* Experience in marketing in digital - you’ll have something great to show us;
* Strong design skills
* Excellent project management skills
* Impeccable communication and presentation skills
* Superior planning and organizational skills with a hands-on execution style
* Financial services or financial technology marketing experience
* Lead generation experience
* Web and social media marketing experience
* A sense of humor, a maverick personality, ambition, drive, and a willingness to go beyond this job description as needed

**Specifically, we’d love:**

* 3+ years experience with cross-platform digital marketing programs or developing ad products
* Knowledgeable about pricing models leveraged in digital advertising, original content creation / production and distribution
* You're a great communicator and have experience working effectively with sales, editorial, product leads, ad operations, and producers / creatives
* Love of detail, with superb written and verbal communication skills
* An actual*interest*in marketing - how brands are reaching users with technology, tactics and via media
* Familiarity with the inner workings of a digital news/opinion site or video site
* A deep understanding of the creative development process
* A deep understanding of the technical and operational requirements of projects and products

**Some of the prosaic stuff you may have to do:**

* Lead generation campaigns
* Lead nurturing programs
* Managing social media promotion and sharing
* Develop collateral and content for use throughout the sales process to advertisers, including website, product factsheets, press releases, customer case studies, industry publications, blogs, client portal, and social media
* Eventually, you may alsocoordinate events including webinars, tradeshows, prospect events, speaking engagements, consultant briefings, analyst briefings and GoldenSource Customer Advisory Group meetings to ensure value and ROI
* Manage marketing assets via SharePoint
* Engage, educate, and enable alliance and channel partners in new markets as the brand expands
