**Job Description: Circulation Sales Manager, Single Copy**

April 21st, 2014

This new management position will be fully responsible for all aspects of single copy sales in the “Directs” geographic marketplace and report directly to the Executive Director, Business Development. This position will both manage a staff of single copy City Reps as well as maintain day to day duties within a unique market area.

Job Responsibilities:

* Direct management of the sales staff as well as procuring reports and analysis from them and the market directly.

* Recruiting and training of new hires and the continued development of the existing staff.

* Expand the dealer base by creating relationships with new dealers and selling the benefits of carrying our products.

* Work closely with current management team in developing programs to increase circulation and lower existing costs.

* Work with the internal management at the Bronx plant to ensure dealer concerns are handled and resolved.

* Monitor competitive field activity and communicate to upper management.

Position Requirements:

* Minimum of 5 years experience selling direct store delivery or similar retail sales.
* Experience managing sales reps preferred.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
* Basic computer skills and working with spreadsheets a must.
* College degree preferred.
