SCOUTING REPORT | It's really unfair. Fehoko is as strong a high school as a player I've seen for film. The competition isn't great, but that athleticism at his size translates to any level. He's a bull and once he gets past a defender, there's really no sopping him. Again, when I look at defensive linemen, I look at what the player can do in terms of arm-strength and his leverage as a lineman. Fehoko has terrific leverage on just about every play. He stays low and he wins those battles because he's better at getting leverage and you combine that with some terrific upper body strength and you've pretty much got an immovable force.
In terms of what this means for the rest of the class? This is as big of a commitment as Jarret Stidham. Maybe even bigger. I talked about having transcendent players on offense, guys that make players around you even better, and there just aren't a lot of them on Texas Tech's roster on the defensive side of the ball. Davis Webb elevates the offense right now. Guys like Fehoko could do that for the defense. That's the plan.
Breiden, welcome to Texas Tech and Git Your Guns Up!
