Hi Doodlebug friends!

It's Traci here, and I'm so excited to be sharing my first design team project with you!   For those of you who follow my blog, you know my favorite projects are mini albums.  They are such sweet treasures for holding our memories ... and they are so fun to create! For this Lovebugs project, I was inspired by Valentine candy boxes.  I decided to create my own heart shaped box using a cutting file designed by Lori Whitlock, some Silhouette brand chipboard, and lots of goodies from the Lovebugs collection.

For the box, I used my CAMEO to cut all the pieces out of chipboard and then pattern paper.  (I enlarged all pieces before cutting so that a 5.5" album would fit inside).  I assembled everything together with a strong liquid adhesive and then had fun creating the top of the box.  I used ladybug chippers for my title, along with with stickers, buttons, twine, and a few heart-shaped sprinkles.   I also used cupcake twine around the edge of the box to cover up the chipboard.

For the mini album, I cut 6 hearts out of white textured card stock, and then added layers of paper from the 6x6 Lovebugs paper pad.  I love that the prints are smaller, and the cut-apart cards are miniature -- they fit perfectly throughout my little album.

If you would like to see all of the pages of my Lovebugs mini, please hop over to my blog and say hello!  You can find me at www.artsyalbums.com. Thanks so much for letting me share with you today!! Traci www.artsyalbums.com
