Did you know that Father’s Day is just around the corner? Sunday, June 21st, is Father’s Day. Not only do I have my dad to shop for, but my husband too. Both can a bit difficult to shop for. I’ve already started looking for unique gifts for them and was pleasantly surprised at the selection of gift ideas I found over at Cabela’s. I found something special for each of the unique and special dads in my life.
My Dad
My Dad likes the outdoor world from the comfort of being inside his home. He likes to swim and the pool and grill outside. He also likes watching hunting shows on TV while on his couch in the air condition. Here are a few of the ideas I came up with for him.
Lock and Load Target & Gun Alarm Clock – I don’t know about you, but I have felt like shooting my alarm clock when it went off in the morning. How fun is this idea?
Cabela’s Wireless Forecast Station – My dad is a pilot by trade and he loves checking the weather. This shows him the current weather outdoors as well as the temperature indoors.
Midland ER300 Emergency AM/FM/WX Crank Radio – Speaking of weather, this is perfect if he loses power.
Cabela’s Grand River Lodge™ Fisherman’s Ceiling Light – This light is just really cool looking. I could totally see it installed

My husband
My Husband, Myles, is a truck driver and on the road all the time. When he gets his home time he just likes to relax. He also loves eating and cooking at home where he can enjoy it and not have to go anywhere. Here are some of the ideas I found for him:
Cabela’s Wild Game Steaks – Four-Pack – I honestly had no idea they carried meat! You can choose from New Zealand Elk, Venison, Buffalo, Wild Boar, and Nilgai Antelope. My husband is a meat and potatoes kind of guy and he’ll love these various steaks.
Ratcheting French-Fry Cutter and Vegetable Dicer – My husband and I decided to buy a fryer probably a year ago and he uses it several times every home time. This cutter would prep his potatoes much faster.
Cabela’s Heavy-Duty Grinder – Like I mentioned before my husband loves his steak. We buy ours straight from the farmer so this would come in handy for making burgers.
Cabela’s Preservac Basic Vacuum Sealer – If we’re going to have all these meat around this would ensure it all stays fresh between home times.
My sister, Sarah, and brother in law, Troy
My Brother in Law, Troy, is a fisherman. He spends a lot of his free time on the ocean. Here are some of the ideas I found for him:
