You might have noticed this weekend was the first Coachella weekend [it’s all over internet]. It’s the first biggest festival each year, so kind of inaugurating the festival season. No wonder the festival outfits at Coachella are a big deal; they’re getting everyone excited for the summer season! Seeing all the Coachella outfits definitely got me inspired for a festival/summer look, and luckily we had some nice weather these last few days, so I was actually able to wear it. Crochet shorts, leather jacket, comfi boots, a flower crown, yep that’s definitely my festival feeling. I really love the blush pink flower crown from Crown and Glory! I have it for a good while, but I keep wearing it every summer!
But let’s not forget that Coachella is primarily about the music! They have SO many good artist; Stromae, Marina and the Diamonds, Lykke Li, Drake, and so on and on. I think it’s really nice to see four Dutch artists in the line-up as well. Especially Yellow Claw, who only started in 2010 with Dutch trap music. I mean, this song is just epic. It’s about, uhh,, I have no idea, but it brings back memories from summer 2012 when this song was the shit [in the Netherlands]. That summer I was in Mallorca, where they performed the song in one of the Dutch clubs. Yeah good times, lots of fun!
