Multifamily professionals stay ahead of the social media curve with new online platform
Norfolk, VA – (April 21, 2014) – For Rent Media Solutions™ (FRMS), a leading multifamily marketing resource, perpetually making improvements to products to make use, understanding and measurement easier for customers, has announced the latest enhancement to its social product, FRSocial. The improvements to the already user-friendly and tech-savvy platform are a significant upgrade to the FRSocial product, allowing property managers to have better insights into their social presence and engage with followers, driving more consumer awareness, resident retention and lead opportunities.
The new platform was introduced to all FRSocialExpert customers at no additional cost. The developments allow the user to connect across five different social channels, including Facebook, Google+, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Foursquare. Also, there are three additional content libraries with more high-quality and engaging content options, a new social media inbox that allows users to interact with their audience through the “Join the Discussion” feature, and more robust social media reporting and analytics. Additionally, designated social media specialists are available to each client to publish high quality, engaging content across up to five social sites. Clients also have the option to curate their own content. They can share relevant news, publish photos, create resident events and promote local deals and happenings in their area to create traction and appeal to social media followers.

The FRSocial enhancements include five different “badges” that track weekly and monthly logins, shared posts, Foursquare specials, and promotions and events. These badges highlight the benchmarks that property managers have reached by utilizing the FRSocial Social Management platform. This is a form of gamification to incentivize the apartment community to use the dashboard regularly as a means of engaging with their online community.
