A lawn mower company paid $90,000 for Walker.com and other end user domain name sales.
Sedo’s sales list this week was highlighted by the $90,000 sale of Walker.com. Given all of the companies that have Walker in their name, this seems like a fair price. Walker Manufacturing Company, a manufacturer of riding lawn mowers, made a wise marketing investment in this domain name.
Other sales include a non-profit that bought its exact match .org (which is much better than what it was using!) and single letter .science sale for $3,500.

Craftplus.com $8,000 – Ivan Leathercraft Co, maker of leather crafting tools.
Brain-Group.com €6,890 – BrainagencyMedia GmbH is a marketing agency in Germany.
Kurella.com $5,000 – The buyer’s last name is Kurella and he already owns the matching .net.
FilmEvent.com $4,750 – Videoentertainers has a cool service for making team building activities and corporate events like a film festival.
LotteryWinners.com €4,485 – FTD Digital drives traffic to online gambling sites.
MoneyTailor.com €3,900 – CSC acquired this domain on behalf of a client.
ThinkOutloud.com $3,750 – Think Out Loud Productions is a documentary film production company. Its existing domain name is TOLProductions.com. This is a nice upgrade.
R.Science $3,500 – Rolandos is a company that…well, you tell me. Check out its website and see how long it takes to figure it out. Manufacturing? Marketing?
ProjectPurple.org $3,000 – Project Purple is a non-profit fighting pancreatic cancer. It forwards the domain to run4projectpurple.org.
GetCoconut.com $2,500 – The buyer is Monizo Ltd is a financial system for freelancers. This domain name suggests the company is creating an app called Coconut, as many apps use the form GetAPPNAME.com.
ShineCar.com $2,495 – Belanger Inc manufactures commercial car washing equipment.
CafeGlace.com €2,390 – Noordhoof Group owns a bottled water service company. Cafe Glace translates to “iced coffee” in French.
DentalHero.com $2,250 – Renaissance Health Service Corporation manages health insurance claims, including for dentists.
Swarm.co $2,500 – Articulate is an Australian consulting and business training firm. I suspect Swarm might be a new name for one of its services.
