DoIT offers many tools that can help you have a more productive year. Collaborate more effectively, prevent productivity losses by safeguarding your work, and access important resource on the go with the following tools:

Google Contacts

Google Drive

Share documents, spreadsheets, presentations, forms and drawings. Collaborate in real-time with your team or with your whole school. You can publish final documents to the entire world, too.

Google Groups

Participate in mailing lists and discussion groups.

Google Sites

Work together to keep related documents, Web content, and other information in one place, on one site.

Box

UW-Madison provides 50 Gb of free web accessible file storage using a service called Box. Box provides you with a place to store, access, manage and collaborate on your files. Personal Accounts are available at no cost to all students, faculty and staff.

WiscVPN

A variety of campus network resources can only be accessed by campus-based computers. WiscVPN software enables eligible users to access restricted resources when connected via a commercial ISP (for example, from home).

Shared Drive

SharedDrive provides departmental file and print sharing services to departments, groups or service teams. Multiple tiers of storage are available to accommodate any departmental file sharing needs.

Mobile UW

Mobile UW is a set of essential tools for students, faculty, staff, parents and alumni of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, including News, Events, Directory, Bus information, Library information, and a map.
