I Bought a 3.5L Engine From a '01 300M, But it came with most of the tubes and Hoses cut, Making it difficult for Me to just plug stuff Up. So I need help with the few things to have an Idea of what to do and how to go about connecting stuff up the right way where its supposed to go.
First. So, it seems like the after market Engine cooler lines don't have valves? I Bought A Set of Dorman Aftermarket. But I doesn't seem to have come with the Valves, What do I do? Do they sell the valve separate? if so can someone please give Me the part #? or can I hook up the lines w/o the valves?
2. The Transmission have the cooler lines in My 2.7 looks healthy, no Leaks or Rusts. So I'm wondering if I Can Reuse the 2.7 lines On the 3.5 and it connects right up? They should be the same right? Or I have to make some extra/custom stuff to make'em fit?
3. One of the Coolant inlet where the heater hose line connects is at the back of the engine. The heater hose in My 2.7 is Long I thing, My guess is that the location in the 2.7 is not the same for the 3.5 Warranting a Longer Hose? Am I right? So do I need to cut it to Make it fit on the 3.5? if I do, How do I it?
Thanks For All/Any Help/Advise.
