Senior Account Manager – The role

To manage direct, digital and integrated campaigns liaising regularly with clients to ensure deadlines are being met and comments/feedback received in a timely fashion.

To support the Senior Account Director and Group Account Director on larger strategic projects.

To ensure all internal stakeholders are kept up to date on the development of campaigns – either in status meetings or via email – and to work with data and planning on proposals.

To manage all financial management – billing, forecasting and ongoing project reconciliations.

To show awareness of the bigger strategic picture and key strategic objectives.

To build excellent working relationships with client-side counterparts and interagency teams.

To liaise with all internal departments including Client Service, Creative, Data, Digital production as well as key stakeholders within the wider integrated agency teams.

To brief creative, design and production teams.

To proactively manage campaigns, not only successfully pushing projects forward and managing timelines, but spotting opportunities and planning ahead to avoid pitfalls.

To join up the dots of all projects going through and use experience to provide strategic recommendations to deliver efficient and effective team delivery.

Senior Account Manager – Skills and experience

A good grounding in account management, and its principles, is absolutely essential.

Experience of working on a CRM/eCRM account.

B2B and B2C experience desirable.

Evidence of working with data planners and an understanding of data driven business.

Comfortable dealing with senior creative, planning and data teams, as well as senior clients.

First class communication and presentation skills.

Evidence of strong project management capabilities.

A good understanding of direct and digital marketing.

Good print production knowledge.

Good digital production knowledge (i.e. HTML banners/email marketing).

Good knowledge of how to run a profitable campaign.

Automotive experience preferred but not essential, but working in a fast-paced account is essential.

Mobile delivery would be an advantage
