I really never ever thought I would do this, but after 17 yrs, yes 17 yrs, im selling my beloved Orion Concept 97.1 amp and 97.2 digital EQ.

Basically here is the scoop.. I was a Orion Dealer throughout the 90's and early part of 2000's, In 1997 when Orion finally released the few pieces of the Concept Series, us dealers grabed them up pretty quick. I purchased late end of year of 1997 on a direct dealer buy as we had them preordered forever through our local Rep Firm. At the time I used as one of our Demo Vehicles a 1969 RS/Z28 Camaro, at the time, just finishied up a nice 350 with 144 supercharger and 100 shot of nitrous. We decided to install the amp and eq in the Car and pull the old orion xtr stuff we had in it. The Car needed loud clean sound with the wine of the blower, lol.. Any way long story short, The equipment was installed in the car maybe less than a week. On a short run down the street WITH a long time customer who we have done many a install for, and you could call a nice friend relationship, while demoing the system, He in fact encouraged me to "GET ON IT", which considering it was my somewhat younger days, I was happy to do so, needless to say, we were about 6 blocks from the shop, when I happily GOT ON IT for him, when the car suddenly clanked and would not run any longer, Could not figure out what the deal was until I seen all the oil all over, Pulled out the trusty Motorola flip phone that covered the whole side of my head and called the shop for help.. Threw a ROD straight through the oil pan. The car sat in the back of the shop for several months, when I decided to pull all the equipment and redo the entire car, I boxed the stuff back up, and it has sat in literally 4 different stock rooms, a office, closet, and home office for the past 17 years, until I pulled it out this morning and decided it was time.

Oh, and YES, I still have the Camaro as well, been redone over the years with all new interior, updated to 383 stroker, with fuel injection and Yes, even supercharged again. (no nit. though, lol)..

I honestly do not think you can or will find a ONE OWNER Orion Concept Series amp and Eq, with the original boxes, and all original paperwork, and even stickers that came with these amps... Had I had these in a vehicle for years, then im sure all that would have been tossed by now.. I even have the original letters that were included with the EQ for the concept customers at the time, and my understanding , these were put in all the dealer orders originally , then discontinued doing after that.. But not sure..

Please pay close attention to the early release of the concept EQ, while they were a thing of beauty, they almost had that rough aluminum brushed design (later to be made all black on the full release) These truly were CONCEPT pieces.

Even the amp, STILL has the warranty sticker INTACT on the amp, has NEVER been opened, and NO, I will not open it...

As you can see, all paperwork, including the manuals are absolutely perfect and MINT... both pieces are a solid 9.5+ I would say, there are a few minor things as you can see if look closely, and any dust is free anyway..

also on the amp, how many do you ever actually see that STILL have all 3 of the clips for the cover. And the stenciling on both ends are 99% perfect.

That's all I can really say on the stuff.. Any questions PLEASE feel free to post it here or PM me.. and discussion on a possible purchase, please use the PM system for that.

I will upload pics later today after a bit of shut eye..
