Item:

HTC DNA smartphone on the Verizon wireless network & 1 non OEM usb to micro usb charging cable.

Description & information:

This phone is, I think, a refurbished model I got to replace my original glitchy DNA. The front screen plastic protectant says certified like new replacement so I'm assuming its a refurbished phone.

I liked a lot of things about this phone and several things I hated about it, though a couple of those are mostly android in general I'm thinking. My first copy had an issue with the SIM card. It would disconnect randomly even during calls! Pulling the sim and putting it back in properly seemed to fix the issue for the most part but it did disconnect a few times during the last 5 or 6 months I used it. Twice it decided to just not connect to data but left the phone side operable. Both times I had to reset the phone back to full factory settings which let it reconnect but was a giant PitA to have to download everything from backup and reset all my apps the way I liked them. On my copy the rubber plug that protects the charging port just fell out the second week I had it! The new one has it still.

I liked HTCs auto fill on email addresses in some windows. It would guess yahoo if @y was typed and gmail when @g was began. Nice touch over Samsung S4 but iPhone usually entered in the rest of my email address after I typed the first 3 or 4 characters. I liked the screen size and thought it was bright enough in all but the sunniest of locals. Tad better than he iPhone in bright places.

Anyhow I figured I'd list this for a week or so till I head to Vietnam before I sell it to gazelle.com which I'm betting where it will ultimately end up but on the off chance someone wanted to get a relatively cheap non contract model I'd like to give them that chance.

Price:

$165 shipped lower 48 states.

Gazelle is offering up to $187 for this device so that's why I'm selling it for my asking price. The middle price they have listed is $165 and they pay shipping. I think the ones I looked at on eBay that had bids were up over 200 but I'm not that keen dealing on eBay these days as I'm betting i would need to create a new account just to try. I'd rather give someone here a possible deal.

Jason

Condition: like new
