Job Description:
Ferry Farm Baptist Church in the historic Fredericksburg, Virginia area is prayerfully seeking a full-time Senior Pastor called by God to serve as the spiritual leader of our congregation and who is a seminary graduate with experience serving in a Baptist church.
We are seeking a leader with strong motivational skills who will preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, emphasize discipleship and evangelism, engage in pastoral care, encourage Christian growth and development, and who demonstrates a sincere love for the Lord and all people. Our church, founded in 1959, has connections to the BGAV, SBC and CBF and affirms the 1963 Baptist Faith and Message.
The Senior Pastor must be able to lead a team of three full-time associate pastors and work with the pastoral team and lay leadership to plan and conduct both a traditional and a contemporary worship service each Sunday.
